Three Easy Ways to Be SuperFit

We all want our workouts to be good, but why not make them superfit routines!

SmashFit has put together the formula to make it happen. First – Make fitness a way of life, and forget skipping workouts. Second – Eat to get the energy to make the workout succeed and then go for it with everything you have as you tune out the world. Third – Don’t leave hunger to chance and have your favorite protein always at hand as you power through to the new superfit you.

Then Keep the Superfit Mood Going

Once you have adopted the superfit philosophy and made exercise a must, everything else gets easier. To keep that superfit mood going, remember to keep workouts short, intense and explosive. Long drawn out sessions will sap your morale and lower your results.

As for calories, forget diets and focus on eating fresh quality whole foods to keep your weight down and your energy up.

Then Try Spidey – the Super Plank Exercise.

Bored with planks? says you can sculpt your whole body with Spidey. Start as a push-up. Bring the right knee as close to the right elbow as possible. Push back up to start. Then repeat with the left knee. Do 10 reps, five on each leg.

Add A High Intensity Bike Workout

How about burning 200 calories in just two and a half minutes! Try this. Pedal as fast as you can go on a stationary bike set at high resistance for 30 seconds. Then lower the resistance and pedal slowly for four minutes. Repeat five times.

Treadmill & Elliptical Short Bursts

Before you start, calculate your maximum heart rate by subtracting your age from 220. Then use the heart monitor on the treadmill or elliptical to track your heart while you do high intensity bursts at 80 percent of your max, followed by low intensity recoveries of 50 to 65 percent.

Finally, speed up your treadmill results by moving your arms bent at 90 degree angles without crossing in front of the chest. Your legs will keep up with your arms.

Through all of your superfit maneuvers, the best part comes when you realize every pound of muscle you add burns an extra 45 calories per day. At that rate, even with a day time desk job, you can lose almost a pound of fat a week.

As you dial in your new superfit exercise routine, keep a log charting the losses a new lean you.

As always, if you have health issues, check with your doctor first before beginning new exercise routines.
