Dr. Joseph Martinez, D.C.
Dr. Joseph Martinez was born and raised in Southern California. He graduated from Mater Dei High School and went on to pursue a career in law enforcement. After graduating from the Fullerton College Police Academy in 2003 he worked as a bodyguard for Gavin de Becker & Associates for 2 years, protecting the lives of highly prominent celebrities at the young age of 22.
However, he realized this wasn’t the type of work he wanted to devote his entire life to so he decided to go back to school to pursue his lifelong goal of helping people through healthcare. After 4 years of hard studying he graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and a 3.42 GPA.
After graduating from USC, Dr. Martinez went on to pursue his chiropractic degree at Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, CA. He graduated on the Dean’s List for having a 3.15 GPA upon completing the rigorous Doctor of Chiropractic program.
Dr. Martinez is married to Julie, an elementary school teacher at Chino Valley Unified School District, and has 2 children. He enjoys spending time with his family, drawing, playing classical guitar, reading, weight training, grilling and watching USC football.
Dr. Martinez is skilled in Diversified, Gonstead, and Activator techniques and has had experience adjusting pregnant women, toddlers, arthritic and osteoporotic patients. He is also skilled in extremity adjusting and attended several seminars with the Council on Extremity Adjusting (CEA) to develop this skill.
