Dr. Kaiden Maxwell, D.C.

After years of undergoing treatment at the hands of orthopedic surgeons, including two disabling back surgeries, Dr. Maxwell developed a keen interest in spinal health and set himself on the path to becoming a spine specialist himself. “Since surgery didn’t work for me and, in fact, made my condition worse,” he explains, “I turned my attention to a profession that is focused on the spine in an entirely holistic, noninvasive way.” Through his education as a chiropractor and his direct experience as a chiropractic patient, Dr. Maxwell made a lifelong commitment to helping people of all ages and backgrounds get on a path to optimum health and well-being in body, mind, and spirit. Professionally, he is passionate about chiropractic, healing, and teaching. Personally, Dr. Maxwell’s spirituality is his primary interest, and includes daily meditation and yoga. Dr. Maxwell’s days are guided by the words of an ancient Arabian proverb, “one who has health has hope; and one who has hope has everything.”

Dr. Lisa White, D.C.

Dr. Lisa White graduated summa cum laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College, Los Angeles in 1988, after recieving her bachelors degree from UCLA and doing graduate studies at USC. She then moved to Escondido to open White Chiropractic where she practiced for 20 years. During that time she was active in Kiwanis, the Chamber of Commerce, Toastmasters International, and the Boys and Girls Club and donated thousands of dollars and services to various community organizations such as North County Interfaith Council, the Escondido Humane Society and The Escondido Police Department. Dr. White sold her practice in 2004 and retired from clinical practice.

After ten years away from clinical practice she decided to return to her beloved profession on a limited basis and found a perfect opportunity to do so at The Joint in Escondido. In addition to her expertise in chiropractic, she is accomplished in pilates, yoga, dance, and personal training and applies her knowledge in these areas to provide the best care possible to her patients.
