While Dr. Eric Nocera found running a traditional chiropractic office rewarding, it was also challenging as a business, and the opportunities The Joint presented left him ready to pursue a different approach. He decided to join The Joint to be a part of a great approach to chiropractic care and a great team. Having spent more than a decade and a half as a doctor within the traditional insurance-based system, Dr. Nocera found The Joint’s accessible, affordable, no-insurance-required approach offered a refreshing change to providing chiropractic care with its primary focus on the patient-doctor relationship above all. Experienced in having owned and operated his own practice in High Point, North Carolina for more than a decade, Dr. Nocera has provided all aspects of patient care ranging from chiropractic maintenance to injury care.
He is a graduate of National College of Chiropractic in Chicago (1997), and prior to that received his BA in Pre-medicine/Psychology from Kent State University in his home state of Ohio (1993). Dr. Nocera understands the value of living an active lifestyle and is an avid tennis player who has played competitively in USTA leagues and tournaments for more than 10 years. He also enjoys mountain bike riding, swimming and the hospitality North Carolina is known for.
Dr. Steven J. Rubin, D.C.
Southern California University of Health Sciences

Dr. Rubin discovered a career in Chiropractic after 10 years as a city planner on the west coast following a degree in Environmental Studies and Economics. He graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences with a Doctorate of Chiropractic.
For over 21 years, Dr. Rubin has focused on treating neuromusculoskeletal issues and restoring normal function and biomechanics to help patients attain optimal function. He also enjoys helping his wife, an age group triathlete, as well as his sons compete in cross country and lacrosse. Professional goals include staying abreast of the latest research in Functional Medicine, treating injuries and improving performance, In his free time, Dr. Rubin enjoys photography, travel and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr. Leah Foster, D.C.
Dr. Leah Foster is a graduate of Parker University College of Chiropractic, in Dallas TX. She and her husband are originally from the Oklahoma panhandle. "We love it out here, (in North Carolina) no tornadoes." She has attained a doctorate of Chiropractic, bachelor's degrees of Biology, Anatomy, and Public Wellness. Dr. Foster loves to adjust everyone, but has a special interest in pediatric chiropractic, and functional medicine. Dr. Foster has been married for over eight years, and in her spare time loves to read, watch movies, and "experiment" in the kitchen. (You wouldn't call it "cooking", but sometimes it's good.)
Dr. Pamela Salvitti, D.C.
New York Chiropractic College

Dr. Pamela Salvitti, D.C. has been with the Joint for 6 months. We have her on the schedule at least 1 weekend per month.
Prior to becoming a Chiropractor, Dr. Pam was a Radiologic Technologist in Connecticut where she worked in hospitals and Medical offices for 18 years. She received her BS in Biology from the University of the State of New York and her Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College in 1996. She has practiced Chiropractic in Greensboro for 20 years. She is an educator, volunteer and professional organization member in our community. Her education is ongoing and includes numerous courses on wellness and chiropractic.
Dr. Pam has been happily married to John for 36 years, has 2 wonderful daughters Ashley & Rebecca, a son-in-law Jason and a magnificent grandchild Jadyn.

Dr. James Oerter has been in healthcare since 1977. He began his career working in physical therapy and started his chiropractic journey in 1984. He attained a doctorate of Chiropractic and bachelor's degree in human biology from Logan Chiropractic College.
