Meet Our Chiropractors
Dr. Julie Elbon, D.C.
University of Western States
Dr. Julie Elbon was born and raised in Southern Oregon, moving to the Portland area in 2006. She attended Southern Oregon University, with a focus in Chemistry. She later went on to receive her EMT license from Portland Community College, and spent many years working on local film and television sets as a medic. Dr. Elbon continued her education by completing her Bachelors of Science in Human Biology, and her Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine degree from the University of Western States in Portland, OR. Dr. Elbon utilizes a variety of techniques to best serve her patients’ needs.
Dr. Elbon spends her free time going on adventures with her dog, Hector Jalapeno, the fancy miniature pinscher. You can also find her at Blazer games and local concerts
Dr. Marie Marler, D.C.
University of Western States
Dr. Marie Marler was born in California and raised in Washington DC. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry. After graduation she lived in Japan for two years where she met her first chiropractor. He adjusted community members for free and she was able to watch while she waited her turn. She thought it was fascinating! Her interest in healthcare led her to a Master of Science in pharmacology from Georgetown University. During that time she felt concerned about the direction drug development was heading and decided to make a big change and begin chiropractic school. She moved to Portland and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic in 2016 from University of Western States.
While in school Dr. Marie met her match and got married. Her favorite thing to do, aside from helping patients attain and maintain a pain-free life, is spend time with her husband. They love to hike, grill and play board games of all kinds.
Dr. Marie knows that keeping the spine and joints moving freely will help keep people out of pain and maintain a higher quality of life. She became a chiropractor to help everyone she could get out and stay out of pain so they can do the things they love.
