Meet The Doctors

Dr. Terrance Marque Jackson, D.C. is a Clinic Director at Waxahachie

Dr. Marque Jackson is a Diversified Technique and Activator certified Chiropractor that believes a mobile body is a healthy body. The power of a chiropractic adjustment helps keep the body functioning at its optimal level; which ultimately leads to an enhanced quality of life. Dr. Jackson worked as a Wellness Coach at the YMCA where he found his passion for health & fitness. It was during this time he discovered the power of a chiropractic adjustment and how it can benefit your overall health & wellness.

Dr. Jackson is from San Antonio, Tx, and moved to Dallas Texas in 2019 to begin chiropractic school at Parker University. Before chiropractic school, Dr. Jackson played collegiate football at Millsaps College. However, he later graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in Biology & minor in Kinesiology. Go Coogs!

Dr. Jackson is dedicated to improving his patient's quality of life by educating the public on the importance of wellness and living an active lifestyle. Many health problems in our community can be prevented with a proper diet and physical activity. Some of his personal pleasures are weightlifting, going on walks, spending time with family/friends, and watching sports.

Dr. Fisseha Gebremedhin, D.C. is a Clinic Director, Chiropractor at Waxahachie

Dr. Fisseha Gebremedhin embarked on his journey as a dedicated healthcare provider at The Joint Chiropractic in the year 2020. He found his fulfilling work at Seagoville and Waxahachie in 2023, where he continues to pursue it passionately.

"The most gratifying aspect of being a chiropractor," he enthusiastically notes, "is witnessing patients experience immediate relief and complete recovery from the issues they face. It's incredible to see how it enhances their daily lives and overall well-being."

Affectionately known as Dr. G by his patients, he has previously served the communities of Dallas, Arlington, and Cedar Hill. Dr. G's journey with The Joint Chiropractic began at the Arlington Highlands location. Originally hailing from Ethiopia, he spent his formative years immersed in soccer, eventually becoming a high school teacher and an esteemed administrator in the science department in Addis Ababa. His decision to immigrate to the United States marked a pivotal turning point in his life.

Dr. G, a loving father of two daughters, finds solace in the world of soccer, particularly the British Premier League when he's not passionately tending to his patients. Most importantly Dr. G serves the Kingdom of God at the Ethiopian Evangelical Believers Church in Dallas.

His extensive educational journey culminated in a doctorate from Parker University in Dallas, following a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in educational research, all achieved in his native Ethiopia. Dr. G's thirst for knowledge and commitment to his field also led him to earn a master's degree in clinical neuroscience at Parker University.

Interestingly, his path to becoming a chiropractor was unexpected. Dr. G initially intended to pursue a Ph.D. in educational research with a specialization in statistics. However, fate intervened when an article on alternative medicine prompted a significant shift in his career trajectory.

Reflecting on this pivotal moment, Dr. G shares, "While I was exploring the world of alternative medicine, my then-boss recommended that I seek the help of a chiropractor for the chronic upper back and shoulder pain I had endured for eight long years. Little did I know that this encounter would ultimately shape my life's purpose."

Dr. Tracer Skelton, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Waxahachie

Dr. Skelton was born and raised in Brownwood, Texas. He attended Howard Payne University (HPU) where he served as an Athletic Trainer for the Yellow Jackets. Dr. Skelton graduated with his bachelor’s in Pre-Med/Biology & Licensed Athletic Trainer. Post-graduation, he moved to Lubbock, Tx, where he pursed his master’s in Exercise Sports Science at Texas Tech University. While at Tech, Dr. Skelton was published in "How exercise affects a fetus in utero." He also served as the Head Athletic Trainer at Floydada High School where his athletes ranged from 7th grade to seniors in high school. Dr. Skelton also had the opportunity to work as an Athletic Trainer for collegiate athletes and professional bull riders. Following his graduation from Texas Tech, Dr. Skelton attended Parker University in 2015 where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic.

Dr. Skelton was introduced to Chiropractic at the age of 4 because of his battle with ear infections. His mom couldn't find a solution until one day she mentioned her difficulty to her son’s coach. This coach happened to also be a chiropractor, and this is where Dr. Skelton’s first adjustment took place which eventually helped regulated his ear infections. This event is where Dr. Skelton’s passion for chiropractic began.

Dr. Skelton utilizes low amplitude high velocity adjustments for treatment. He is also proficient in Activator Extremity adjustment and Thompson. His dedication focuses on patients getting better no matter the technique needed for optimal health through chiropractic care.

Dr. Skelton believes that Chiropractic isn't just a way to help back pain (although most people come in for just that), but rather a lifestyle. Dr. Skelton has been under chiropractic care since the age of 4yrs old, and because of this he’s now dedicated to serving everyone from infants to geriatrics.
