Lose Weight By Eliminating These 3 Items

What if you were somehow able to shed up to a full pound each day? If it sounds to good to be true, there’s no need to get discouraged, because it can be totally possible to do. In addition to exercising on a regular basis, it’s important to take a good, critical look at your diet and clean up any bad or unhealthy habits that may be lurking in that part of your life.

One of the most surefire ways to guarantee weight loss is to start cooking at home. When you’re in charge of what goes into your meals, and when you can start controlling portion sizes, you’re more likely to start eating healthier. However, it is important as well to cut out ingredients and food items in your pantry that may be holding your health hostage, so to speak. Here are three common items that you should eliminate from your kitchen if you really want to see weight loss results.

Gluten

Many people go on a gluten-free diet not by choice, but because they are insensitive to the stuff. However, once they realize how much healthier they tend to feel when cutting gluten out of their diet, they start to wonder why they hadn’t gone gluten-free much earlier in their lives. Even if you don’t have any sort of allergy or sensitivity to gluten, you may find that gluten is what is keeping you from shedding off those stubborn pounds. Gluten creates something called leptin resistance in the body, which essentially makes you less sensitive to signals in your body that let you know when you’re full, which can cause you to overeat. Stick to whole fruits and fresh veggies when stocking up on food forthe week, and you may also notice an increase in your energy levels as well.

Dairy

You may be surprised to know that up to 70 percent of people around the world are sensitive to lactose by some degree. Just skipping milk in your morning coffee is enough to notice improved digestion. Add almond milk to your meals instead.

Sugar

Sugar known as glucose can be naturally occurring in fruits, which is ok for your health. It’s the added, refined sugars that pose a concern. Our minds are literally addicted to sugar, so it’s difficult to stray away from, but once you cut it out, you will notice you have more energy and therefore an easier time losing weight.
