Highlights of the 2015 WAVE Conference

One of the biggest parts of how we can integrate chiropractic care into the overall landscape of the medical community is through education, awareness, and the provision of resources throughout the community regarding how chiropractic care can influence musculoskeletal health in various situations. In one of the most efficient efforts to spread awareness of this discipline of alternative medicine, the fifth annual WAVE chiropractic conference is being held in San Francisco, California.

The beauty of the WAVE conference is that it combines so many different aspects of our health into one central place. So many different people pursue art, science, philosophy in medicine. In San Francisco, the WAVE conference has combined all of these pursuits into one place as a way to form a multi-lateral approach to chiropractic care. As many chiropractors and patients already know, a multidisciplinary approach to wellness can be the most effective.

Chiropractic care is one of the most highly sought after disciplines of chiropractic care. From artists, to unconventional medical professionals, to holistic medicine specialists, to physicians who practice in areas of lesser popularity, chiropractic care is an alternative approach to ensuring that our musculoskeletal health is up to speed and that the alignment of our musculoskeletal system is optimal.

To name a few different talks that will be given at the 2015 Wave Conference:

  • Dr. John Demartini, DC: “Expanding and Fulfilling Your Chiropractic Vision from the Inside Out,” chiropractor and human behavioral specialist
  • Dr. Scott Rosa, Vice President of the R.W. Sweat Research Foundation and Chairman of the Research Studies Group:     “Dynamic Imaging of Cervical Spine Trauma. Diagnostic and Clinical Implications
  • Susan Schofield, CFO, Co-Founder of Atlas: “Communicating the Purpose and Passion of Your Chiropractic Office” from the Chiropractic Center and Schofield Consulting
  • Dr. Don Epstein: “Upgrading the Human Operating System,”
  • Dr. Jennifer Barham-Floreani, DC from Australia  “Becoming the Leading Form of Family Healthcare”

As you can see, the diverse array of approaches to chiropractic care can make a true difference in how this discipline of alternative medicine is perceived throughout the medical community. With efforts like the WAVE conference, we can see that chiropractic care has more of an effect on the population that we would think. It hoped that more events and conferences for chiropractic and other medical professionals to integrate and collaborate.
