The Joint - The Chiropractic Place honors military, first responders
KENMORE _ One of the most unique and impressive tributes to those we lost on Sept. 11, 2011, is the America Standing Tall Memorial, which was made right here in Western New York by Ed Hogle and his two sons Brian and Terry of Steel Crazy Iron Art of Buffalo.
This magnificent 9/11 tribute stands six feet tall and weighs 1,800 pounds. It is made of highly polished stainless steel and lists the names of all 2,996 casualties of the World Trade Center attacks. It is mounted on the map of the United States. On Monday, Sept. 9, this beautiful work of art was on display from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. outside of the newly opened "The Joint - The Chiropractic Place" located in the plaza on Sheridan Drive between Delaware Avenue and Delaware Road in Ken-Ton.
Each and every day in this country, the call for courage goes out to our nation's finest, the U.S. Military and the First Responders who selflessly put the needs of others before theirs and put their lives on the line to protect and serve. In honor of the heroic deeds and sacrifices first responders make, The Joint Corp., the leading franchisor of chiropractic clinics, the local Ken-Ton clinic location offered free adjustments for all military and first responders and their families.
"We're reminded during this time of year around 9/11 of those who sacrifice their lives for others and we want them to know The Joint is grateful and thanks them," said John Leonesio, CEO of The Joint. "The Joint family is extremely proud of our country and the service our military and first responders provide, not just on this day, but every day of the year."
The Joint…the chiropractic place, offered all military, police, firefighters, emergency medical technicians and their families free adjustments at their locations throughout the Ken-Ton area from Sept. 8 to 14. All military and first responders and their family members that presented valid ID with proof of occupation received a free adjustment.
"Good health is a priority all of us should embrace and as a rapidly growing national brand, The Joint plans on making good health easy to attain for everyone, Leonesio said.
The Joint has 418 clinics open or in development in 23 states. The Joint Corporation was founded in Tucson, Ariz. in 1999 with a vision to transform the traditional and confusing concept of chiropractic care into a simple and affordable reality. Today, The Joint…the chiropractic place creates a new philosophy of chiropractic care where clients can utilize chiropractic treatment as an integral part of their health and wellness program.
