Now's the Time to Focus on Nutrition

There is no better time to start focusing on the nutrition you give your body than the spring. That's because National Nutrition Month is celebrated in March and stresses the importance of the type, quality, and quantity of food we consume on a daily basis. Why are those factors important? Because each one plays a vital role in our overall health and wellness. Drink More Water

The question isn't if you know how important water is, but if you are drinking the recommended amount of it each day. If not, you may need to make some immediate changes! Ditch the sodas, energy drinks, and endless cups of coffee and carry a refillable water bottle around with you instead. Here are some great suggestions on how to add more water to your diet.

  • Start and end your days with a glass of water
  • Infuse your water with citrus, mint leaves, cucumbers, and berries for added flavor
  • Always choose water when eating out
  • Increase your intake when outdoors
