Staying properly hydrated plays a role in the body's ability to fight off infections. Health and wellness experts advise that you should drink at least half of your body weight in ounces each day. For some, this can be a difficult chore. If you find it a struggle to drink water, try flavoring your water to improve its appeal to your taste buds.
