# How This Houston Hairdresser Found Relief At The Joint Chiropractic

Bobby’s life revolves around helping other people feel their best. As the owner of a busy Houston salon, he’s built a career on confidence, style, and service. But years of standing behind the chair started to take a toll. His body ached, his joints popped, and the job he loved was leaving him drained by the end of each day. He knew something had to change. ## The weight of the work
From the outside, the beauty industry looks glamorous. But behind the scenes, it’s demanding, physical work. Long days on your feet, arms lifted for hours, precision movements, and a constant need to show up with energy and positivity. Bobby knows this life well. He was practically raised in it.
“My mom’s side of the family are all hairdressers,” he says. “I was told at the age of seven that I was going to be a hairdresser. That I was going to be in the salon.”
And he was. Today, Bobby owns his salon, Bobby Pinz, where he’s built a reputation on more than hair. His energy fills the room. His clients leave transformed. And his business reflects the passion he pours into it every single day.
But behind the scenes, things were starting to feel different.
“I love it, but it’s painful,” he says. “You’re standing on a mat all day doing hair. My bones are popping all over the place.”
By the time he turned 40, Bobby could feel the grind catching up with him. A career spent standing in one place, pivoting from station to shampoo bowl, was starting to weigh on his body in ways he hadn’t expected.
“I’m like, wow. Forty years old? Really? This is a lot.”
Each night he came home with tight shoulders, stiff hips, and a sense of exhaustion that felt deeper than before. Still, he kept pushing. The salon wouldn’t run itself, and his clients relied on him. But inside, Bobby knew he needed to take care of his body the way he took care of everyone else.
## A visit that changed everything
It started with one visit. A friend recommended The Joint Chiropractic, and Bobby decided to give it a shot.
“I didn’t realize how heavy I felt until I got adjusted,” he says. “Then it was like all this weight was lifted off me.”
The change was immediate. Not just physically, but mentally. Bobby walked in carrying tension, stress, and fatigue. He walked out feeling taller, lighter, and more at ease in his body.
“I know it sounds funny,” he says, “but I feel like I’m walking on a cloud.”
That one adjustment turned into a routine. Every visit helped reset the physical strain that came from working in a physically demanding profession. His joints moved more freely. His posture improved. The little aches that had become part of daily life started to fade.
“It’s not until you feel that relief that you realize how much you were holding,” he says.
## Relief that fits his rhythm
What surprised Bobby most was how simple it was. There were no hoops to jump through. No insurance to worry about. No pressure to commit to something he couldn’t maintain.
“I just walk in, get taken care of, and walk out feeling so good,” he says.

Today, Bobby is still doing what he loves. He’s behind the chair every day, making people feel their best. The difference is that now, he feels his best, too.
Chiropractic care has become part of the way he stays strong, energized, and connected to the work he loves. It’s not just about fixing pain. It’s about preventing it. It’s about staying ahead of the pressure, so he can continue to show up fully for his clients and himself.
“If I had to describe The Joint in one word,” he says, “it’d be heaven. Or awesome. That’s it.”
He laughs when he says it, but he means it. Because when your body feels good, everything feels different. Work feels easier. Life feels lighter. And for Bobby, that means he can keep chasing his passion, without pain standing in the way.
