Signs You Need to Change Your Eating Habits
By Sara Butler
It's time to take a good look at the way you're eating. That's because if you're not eating right, then you could suffer side effects from your diet that go beyond whether or not you still fit into your jeans. If you're not sure if your diet is good or bad, then you should be on the lookout for a few of these signs that indicate your diet isn't going well for you or your continued health.
You Binge Eat All the Time
If you find yourself going crazy for an entire carton of ice cream or eating a whole bag of chips in one sitting, then it's not because you lack willpower. It's probably because your diet simply isn't working for you.
Bingeing is your body's way of telling you that it's not getting what you need to be healthy. So, evaluate what you are and aren't getting in your current diet and make some changes. You may be able to put a stop to bingeing for good.
You're Tired a Lot
If you get plenty of sleep each night but still find that you're constantly fighting fatigue, then it may be due to your diet. Fatigue is your body's way of telling you that it's not getting what it needs and, as a result, your metabolism may be tanking.
Think about if you're getting enough of the nutrients your body needs each day such as protein and complex carbohydrates. Chances are if you can fix what you're missing, then you may see your energy levels go up for good.
You Get Headaches
Headaches happen to everyone from time for a variety of reasons, but if you're having them every day after drastically changing the way you eat, then it may be a sign you've gone a little too gung-ho. If you don't eat enough of the nutrients your body needs, then it can tank your blood sugar levels. That can cause a headache.
To help keep headaches caused by diet to a minimum, you should make sure to make carbohydrate-rich foods a part of your diet. No one is suggesting a slice of cake to accomplish this, but instead, try an apple, some carrots, or a pear to help provide what your body craves and keep those headaches away.
Your eating habits can be changed, you simply must know where to start!
