Meet The Doctors

Dr. Gagandeep Bal, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Simi Valley

Dr. Gagandeep Bal graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax Virginia with a Bachelors of Science, with a focus in Biology. In 2010, he graduated from Palmer College and became a Doctor of Chiropractic. He previously worked in Reston, Virginia and in California in areas including Monrovia, Glendale, Thousand Oaks, and Reseda. He knew chiropractic care was his calling when he realized that “there is a vast difference between treating effects and adjusting the cause”. Dr. Bal loves watching patients' health improve with chiropractic care.

When not spending time with his wife, Nayneet, Dr. Bal likes to play basketball, go hiking, and loves to spend time with his family and friends. If Dr. Bal could have four people, living or dead, to comprise the perfect dinner party, he would choose Freddy Mercury, Jimi Hendrix, Sinatra and Bob Marley.

Dr. Titus Wolverton, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Simi Valley

Dr. Titus Wolverton graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2006. He appreciates the many ways that his education impacts and influences his life. Dr. Wolverton also loves “helping patients achieve and maintain health and relief”. Before working in Simi Valley, Dr. Wolverton has worked in Porter Ranch, North Hollywood, Dayton, Ohio and Middletown, Ohio.

When he’s not adjusting patients, Dr. Wolverton enjoys working out, running, hiking, riding horses, and watching movies. Two things he always needs to have in his fridge are Diet Coke and half-and-half (for coffee). If he could invite four people, living or dead, to comprise the perfect dinner party he would invite “Jesus, Abraham Lincoln, Shakespeare, Moses… [because] I just have so many questions and I want to bask in their knowledge and experiences”.

Dr. Vincent S. Manfre, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Simi Valley

Dr. Vincent Manfre, D.C. is a California native and currently resides in Reseda, CA where he has been The Joint’s local chiropractor in Porter Ranch, CA since 2013. Dr. Manfre has always had an interest in both health professions and natural healing disciples. Becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic was inspired by his time as a patient, when his chiropractor provided him with rapid relief and overall improved function. Because of his experiences as a patient, Dr. Manfre attended Cleveland Chiropractic College where he obtained his own Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1989.

Dr. Manfre prides himself on his patient care. He has learned to treat a variety of patients ranging from infants to grandparents all with a range of symptoms including neck pain, lower back pain, migraines and sciatica pain. Dr. Manfre finds that being able to provide relief through the use of his chiropractic efforts and manual manipulation is one of life’s greatest gifts. He prides himself on seeing his patients with improved functionality and enhanced wellness.

When he is not working at The Joint Chiropractic, Dr. Manfre is typically either hiking, swimming or spending time with his wife, Mary, and their two sons.

Dr. Patrick Sau, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Simi Valley

Dr. Patrick Sau joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2021 when he became part of the team at the Thousand Oaks clinic, where he does the rewarding work of helping people as their local healthcare provider.

“The best thing about being in the chiropractic field is helping people achieve their maximum health potential,” he says. “I love educating people about their spines. Early on, I knew my profession was going to encompass my passion for a healthy active lifestyle.”

A product of the San Fernando Valley, Dr. Sau has worked as a chiropractor previously in Glendale, Port Hueneme, and Ventura.

When he is not in the office, he enjoys living a healthy lifestyle, which, for him, includes powerlifting. He’s a big fan of Franco Columbu, the late Italian bodybuilder.

Dr. Sau earned his doctorate from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles after getting a degree in biology at Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier.

In Case You Didn’t Know

If he could bring together any four people from history together for his ideal dinner party, Dr. Sau would include martial arts legend Bruce Lee and actors Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, and Charlton Heston.

A book that he recommends highly is Seven Habits of Highly Successful People by Stephen R. Covey. “It’s a self-improvement book that helped a lot along the way,” he says.

The food that he always keeps stocked in the refrigerator is yogurt. “I really enjoy the taste,” he says, “but you can’t beat the health benefits of providing good bacteria into your diet to help with the digestive system.”

Dr. Arshia Pourdehghan became part of The Joint Chiropractic family of local healthcare providers in 2022 when he joined the teams at clinics in Thousand Oaks, Oxnard, Simi Valley, and Ventura. He finds the work very rewarding.

“I am able to have one-on-one time with my patients and attend to their needs and pain,” he says. “I like seeing the relief when I work on patients and their feedback immediately after their adjustment.”

Dr. Arshia, which is what his patients call him, grew up in West HIlls and worked previously in Montebello and Woodland Hills.

His wife, Nooshin, is an accountant and they have a dog named Fingil. Working out, watching TV, and being outdoors are three ways he likes to wind down.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science at California State University, Northridge, Dr. Arshia received a Doctorate in Chiropractic at Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier. He specialized in exercise science and anatomy.

Dr. Arshia became certain about his future in chiropractic after his own experience with injury. “When I had knee pain, a chiropractor was able to help me fix it and get back to my activities of daily living,” he says. “I like that it's all about chiropractic and not all the side treatments.”

He points to an experience while treating the upper body of a patient as one of the most memorable times as a chiropractor. “I relocated a patient’s shoulder and the immediate relief and smile was one of the best moments,” Dr. Arshia says.

In Case You Didn’t Know

If you check Dr. Arshia’s refrigerator and pantry at any time, you’re sure to find milk, eggs, bananas, and steak.

One of the most meaningful experiences he’s ever had was working in the ICU at West Hills Hospital. “Seeing all of those patients in horrible conditions made me value my health much more.”

One of Dr. Arshia’s favorite books is Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari.

Dr. Andrew Morrow joined the teams at The Joint Chiropractic clinics in Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, and Oxnard in 2023, enjoying the role of local healthcare provider in doing the work he finds so fulfilling.

“The best thing about working in the chiropractic field is being able to help others feel their best and reach their maximum potential,” Dr. Morrow says. “I also enjoy seeing the reactions of patients as their pain decreases after their treatments.”

Originally from Woodland Hills, Dr. Morrow went to California State University, Northridge, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. He got a Doctorate of Chiropractic at Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier.

The two things he likes most about working at The Joint clinics are the people and the atmosphere. “As a young chiropractor, it is great to be exposed to a great supporting cast of doctors to learn and grow with.”

When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Morrow enjoys working out, snowboarding, and being active in the outdoors.

He was drawn to the chiropractic field from a young age. “I’ve had firsthand experience receiving chiropractic treatment in my days playing high school baseball, and I could feel the effects.”

In Case You Didn’t Know

The one thing Dr. Morrow always has on hand is chili paste, “because All You Can Eat Gogi always runs out, so I have to bring my own.”

If he could plan the perfect dinner party, Dr. Morrow would invite “Manny Machado and Tony Gwynn to talk baseball, Nathan Fielder to talk business, and Guy Fieri to cook up the steaks.”

Two of Dr. Morrow’s favorite experiences include snowboarding in the mountains of Utah and exploring the ocean in Maui.
