Dr. Scott Miller, D.C., was born and raised in Florida and his family later moved to Georgia, where he eventually attended West Georgia College to study Music. Dr. Scott, as he is affectionally referred to by his patients, always wanted to help people and make them feel happy. He eventually discovered the art and Science of Chiropractic and transferred to Life University, School of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA where he graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1997. After graduating, Dr. Scott started practicing family chiropractic in Colorado Springs before recently moving to Arvada, CO.
Through his professional journey, Dr. Scott has learned to serve all types of people from babies to grandparents and a range of cases, including migraine relief, sciatica pain, neck pain, and lower back pain through the use of manual manipulation. He is The Joint’s local chiropractor in the Arvada-West location and is honored to serve the Arvada, Colorado community.
Dr. Scott says the best thing about being a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Arvada-West is being able to help others: “The best part of being in the chiropractic profession and a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Arvada-West is having the ability to provide quality chiropractic care at an affordable price. Routine chiropractic care has amazing health benefits which should be accessible to all in the Arvada community.”
Dr. Scott's passion is helping others achieve restored and pain free movement and increased quality of life by maximizing the connection between the brain and body through a well-adjusted spine. He has consistently demonstrated first-hand how regular chiropractic adjustments not only help to prevent pain and injury but also serve to promote optimal health and wellness. His own experience with back pain as a result of multiple injuries has led him to practice uniquely with a focus on restoration of movement to allow his patients to continue to do what they love in life. During his free time, Dr. Scott enjoys spending time with his family especially at Disney World and the beach.
In case you didn’t know, Dr. Scott’s favorite quote is from Thomas Edison: “The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame (spine), in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.”
Dr. Michael Gubnitsky, clinic lead, was born and raised in New Jersey, where he completed his B.S. in biology at Upsala College, a private college no longer in existence. For the next 9 years, he trained and raced standard-bred harness race horses and, a hobby of flying, working his way up to his multi-engine commercial instrument rating. The horse stable work turned out to be grueling 16 hour days and after experiencing a trip to the chiropractor (and seeing a chiropractic horse adjustment) his eyes were open to a new career. In 1986, he graduated and received his D.C., Doctor Of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious, fountain head school, Palmer College of Chiropractic, where chiropractic was first born, in 1895.
Since then, Dr. Gubnitsky has practiced over 30 years, 1 year in South Carolina, 13 years in Florida, 13 years in Colorado and 5 years in the Texas. His hobbies include snow skiing and jogging.
Dr. Gubnitsky has a passion about chiropractic, watching patient lives transformed, through his work involving the nervous system with the premise of, "when there is nerve interference, it will ultimately affect the function of the nerve, and the function of wherever it goes." He has worked with patients as young as new born babies and patients up to and including age 98. “I have literally seen miracles,” says Dr. Gubnitsky, “with children’s fevers broken, ear infections cleared up, years of migraine headaches cleared up, bowel movements after days of constipation, a lady with foot drop gain control of her foot, and probably many others that were never reported.”
Dr. Gubnitsky’s mission, is in line with The Joint Chiropractic Place’s mission, “To improve the quality of life in our community through routine and affordable chiropractic care.”
