A Fun-Size Fits All Approach to Exercise

If there is one thing we all know about trends it's that one size does not fit all. And that couldn't be truer than with the "no pain, no gain, hard bodies only" trend that some people follow. Sure, that kind of thinking may work for them and maybe they have found great success with it, but for the rest of us in the room, a different approach is definitely needed. Fortunately, there are plenty of workouts to choose from. So many, in fact, that everyone can find the one that benefits them the most. Take a look at a few examples below.

Rollerblading

The thing about rollerblading is that you may not even realize how much of a workout it is because you will be having so much fun doing it! Just be sure to put on a helmet and some elbow, wrist, and knee pads before you head out. It's always better to be safe than sorry!

Batting Cages

It may not seem like an intense workout but spending a good amount of time at your local batting cages will definitely cause you to sweat! Grab a friend or family member and start swinging. Just be ready for the sore muscles to show up the next day.

Skiing

Whether it's downhill or cross-country, skiing is a great way to strengthen your muscles and increase your endurance. Before you head out though, make sure you check the weather reports, pack enough layers, and bring plenty of water. Also, if skiing is new to you, get some lessons under your belt first because it can be dangerous

Rock climbing is an amazing all-over body workout that will not only increase your strength, but will also improve your patience and focus.

Remember those days in your elementary gym class when the teacher pulled out the jump ropes? It was a blast, wasn't it? Well, now you can bring back those wonderful memories. Head outside or to your garage, turn on some music, and jump to your heart's content. But watch out! You may be shocked by how hard it has gotten over the years.
