When I’m not at The Joint or enjoying a day off, you’ll likely find me at Walt Disney World—I have annual passes and love spending time there with my family. My favorite ride is Guardians of the Galaxy because I’m a huge Marvel fan! Currently, I’m pursuing a degree in elementary education and hope to one day teach at the elementary school I attended as a child. I’ve been a patient for over a year and will probably be one until the day I die. When I first went to The Joint I had a lot of lower back troubles that were paired with a migraine that would bring me to tears. Now I go once a week for a weekly adjustment and haven’t had those painful back troubles nor the migraines. Coming to The Joint has truly been life changing for me.     I’ve been going to The Joint Chiropractic in Gainesville for a while now and it’s honestly made such a difference. I used to have bad back pain and stiffness in my neck from sitting at a desk all day, and since coming here I feel way better. I can move easier and don’t get those constant tight spots anymore. The doctors here are awesome. They actually listen and remember what’s been bothering you instead of just doing the same thing every time. You can tell they really care about helping people feel better, not just rushing through appointments. The front desk girls are always friendly too, they make it super easy to check in and get seen quick. What I like most is it’s walk-in, so I can stop by when I’m out running errands or after work. No calling ahead or waiting around forever. The visits are fast but they still get the job done. Prices are fair too, especially if you go often—it’s been totally worth it for how much better I feel.     Location seems to go through chiropractors however I gave them one last chance and glad I did find confidence in a gem with Dr. Ray Fernandez. He listens to you as his hands are able to identify issues in your body with ease and able to make adjustments and a care plan that best suited MY needs with educational input. I will follow him and his advice due to my progress. Most places try to loop you in and blanket treat you to each up appointments to benefit them. Dr Fernandez treats every patient as an individual which I found important in my care.

The reason why i wanted a refund was because they changed the doctors that i use to work with. They hired new people who don't really know much and you dont get good results.     BEWARE: To cancel the wellness plan (minimum 2-month length btw), you need to send in a letter by CERTIFIED MAIL or hand-deliver a printed copy of it, with all kinds of semi-unnecessary information. There is a reason they make you jump through these hoops. There is a reason it's easy to sign up for a subscription, but a PITA to cancel it. Don't reward that kind of behavior. Look elsewhere for a chiropractor that doesn't have to rely on those kinds of tricks to keep your business. 2-stars because the service itself was nice and otherwise professional. EDIT: I specifically read it in your care plan contract, walked because of it. Wish I had brought it for reference. I've got the right location. You guys were fine as far as professionalism, especially given the high-load of opening week. Just watch the contractual terms, maybe add a cancel-by-phone clause or something.

    In town visiting and messed up my back. Saw them advertising specials and figured “why not.” I have a regular chiropractor back home and I’ve always been leery of these chain medical centers as they are usually run like a McDonalds. But I was in so much pain that even a bad adjustment had to make me feel a little better. So going in my expectations were very low. Happy to say I couldn’t have been more wrong. I was instantly greeted by a very friendly young lady. I believe she said her name was Isabella. She was super friendly and helpful and despite my trepidations about places like this I was never pushed into buying one of their memberships. After about 15 minutes I met the doctor and was again impressed. I was not expecting to find such high quality at “drive through” chiropractor but he took the time to give me a very thorough exam, asked lots of questions and took the time to give me some advice on my general health. I would definitely come back if I’m in the area and recommend them highly.

    I recently visited The Joint after signing up for their enticing $29 special offer. Little did I know that this would turn out to be one of the most disappointing experiences I've had. Firstly, after signing up for the special, I received an unexpected wake-up call the next morning, pressuring me to make an appointment. While I understand the importance of follow-ups, this approach felt intrusive and pushy. Despite this, I made an appointment for 11:30 AM the same day. Arriving promptly, I was greeted with the need to fill out new patient paperwork. After completing the necessary forms, I eagerly waited for my turn, only to find myself waiting for an additional 30 minutes without any explanation or communication. Eventually, I realized that I had been completely overlooked and was never seen by any staff member. Frustrated and feeling disrespected, I had no choice but to walk out, leaving behind my wasted time and a sense of disappointment.

    Worst experience ever. Me and my wife came to Gainesville a year ago, she wanted to go to Chiropractic, she payed for 5 visits and quit. But recently she noticed that they keep charging her each month, and it’s been since November up to now! We filled up refund form but we don’t know if we can get any refund at all.     Dr. Teddie did a very good assessment on my first day of treatment. I slept pretty well that night. Then I was surprised when I had my follow up with Dr. Ben it was the best time of my life. All the tension, tightness, pain on my back just gone magic. Will do it as part of my routine, deep tissue massage doesn’t fix my back issues. This is the answer.

    I am a 44 yr old who had regular visits to the Chiropractor in my early years of life. Since I last seen a Chiropractor, I had six children over a 24 year period. I had no spinal adjustments during that twenty-four year span. I felt horrible because of the lack of care. Today, I had my first visit with Dr. Teddi--I love her personality--she performed an adjustment, and I also got set up on a treatment plan. The Joint Chiropractic is affordable (surprisingly), and I will save money over the long haul thanks to their affordability! The place is heaven sent in my opinion.     This was a needed adjustment. I’m a bigger guy so being able to walk in and be transparent of areas of discomfort; is eye opening and refreshing to feel better after the visit.     This place is Chef Kiss. Morgan is so welcoming every time I arrive. Dr Teddi is so down to earth and honestly gets the right spots leaving me feeling less tense and loose after adjusting post cross-fit. Dr Amber just gave me a new spine, I feel like a new person.     The coordinator Alex is wonderful provided me with intake paperwork via email to help expedite and provide the most of my experience and service because I was doing this on my lunch hour. Dr. Ben is phenomenal ! He really took his time to listen to my concerns, pain and determined a treatment to help me realign. He took careful notations and explained EVERYTHING, which made for a great experience and understand of all things being done and why. The staff was all warm and so welcoming. For the space being open to other patients in shared space I really felt comfortable and and the one on one attention was really given. I was offered a reasonable and affordable plan to continue care to alleviate the stress I put on my body. ( please see update) High recommend ???? ( for non-package/ monthly subscription services) Update: Due to my demanding schedule it is extremely unfortunate that their policy doesn't allow for roll over of unused services. I have paid for months of services that have been unused again due to demanding unexpected schedule. Freeze and Cancelation policies are even more frustrating as it requires a circus event to put in effect. I would recommend not getting any "Package/ Monthly Subscription Services" and in turn pay the regular visits fee.

    I made an appointment with another chiropractor and left in worse shape than I went in. I scheduled the $29 new patient appointment online because one of the perks was weekend appointments. Yesterday, I contemplated cancelling the appointment and called Morgan with a bunch of questions and concerns and he answered all of them without making me feel like I’d be wasting my time at this appointment. I showed up and was greeted and saw Dr. Ben. He explained everything he was doing and when he was doing it. My body may have been fighting him a little due to my experience yesterday, that being said he was very patient and kind.     I was in a 5 car pile up in 2012. I have several herniated disc’s, spinal stenosis and sacral joints that love to move. I am extremely sensitive to adjustments and harsh manipulations. Many local chiropractors that I have been to (over 6) have literally given me more mental anguish and trauma than relief. Some chiropractors can be so rough with aligning and adjusting my spine…. that I cringe at the thought of seeing chiropractors. I had seen this place many times as I live nearby. So I decided to drop in (I was in excruciating pain). The current one I was seeing can never squeeze in last minute appointments and you have to jump through a literal obstacle course just to get on the table! Rolling beds, etc… I wanted/want to be able to simply “walk-in” and be seen! The accommodations here are perfect for my busy schedule and my inpatient personality…enough about me. LET ME BRAGGGGG ABOUT AMBER, CHRIS AND THE STAFF… Amber is so kind, patient and caring! Professional and courteous as I was literally in so much pain it alters my personality and I become terribly nonfunctional! She took her time and consulted with me, went over my reports I had and made me feel relaxed (I clam up and clinch and you can not get a proper adjustment when you’re terrified of chiropractors and nervous). I will tell any and everyone who will listen to come see these professionals! As I was getting my care and treatment, I overheard Chris a few chairs over giving the same care and treatment to his patient. My first visit, I was confused and disoriented (it’s actually embarrassing, my behavior). I couldn’t comprehend the plans and charges, but they were still so kind, caring and emphatic. I literally turn into a monster when I’m in so much pain, but they still all dealt with me and made sure I was okay! For 3 months now I’ve been in excruciating pain, with my visit today I finally feel hopeful I’m going to start getting some relief! I often think in denial, that one visit I’ll be good again! When the truth is, I will most likely always need chiropractic care! So I hope she stays around for awhile. My co-pays verses their care, it’s actually cheaper to see her! There are not many female chiropractors in town. Due to some past trauma I now understand that I’m more comfortable with females doctors. Thank you, Amber! I greatly appreciate your help, care and kindness. The poor receptionist per my last visit she was even kind and sweet. Chris was checking me out on this visit and he was patient, too! Compassion goes a long way in this world today and we must give each other grace. I’m glad these people are nearby and I can finally get on the spot care, or schedule visits past my working hours. If you are looking for a wonderful chiropractic office AND STAFF this is the place!! I’ve also had horrible experiences with rude staff bc they don’t understand chronic pain patients. Instead of calming you down and reassuring you, they will go into defensive mode and react when you can’t comprehend things bc you’re in so much pain… I get extremely disoriented when I am in pain! It is sooooo nice to walk into a room where ppl actually care, and seem to love what they do! Helping ppl… Certain ppl have been anointed by God to heal others! It’s truly a gift. I found my person <3 There’s no short story to 13yrs of suffering :/ Again, thank you so much Amber!!!!!!

I’m new to chiropractic care and my first experience was at a PHENOMENAL private practice back home in Mooresville, NC(combined chiropractic and acupuncture PLLC) so the next location had a lot to live up to. The Joint did not disappoint. Not only is the care affordable and reasonable, but Dr. Chris is gentle, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I was slightly unsettled by the “open” treatment area but I think they have a private area for those whom may need it? Don’t quote me. Either way, it’s not as bad as I initially thought.     I came in with severe lower back pain couldn’t even put on my own socks. I have a lateral tilted pelvis and a herniated disc. Amber talked me through everything and never forced me to do anything I wasn’t comfortable with. After a week and 4 visits I feel 90% better and I can put on my own socks!!!     It was a great experience from start to finish. I had been gradually getting worse and decided to finally try to book something, hoping for a same day adjustment and The Joint came through with an appt right after work. Dr. Amber was pulling double duty and got me all checked in, took my history and listened to my concerns. She then provided a wonderful adjustment that had me feeling remarkably better already when I left!     When I changed jobs recently, my insurance changed as well. The chiropractor I had been going to forever for my chiropractic adjustments was no longer affordable with my new insurance plan. My sister-in-law goes to The Joint in Gainesville, and she kept telling me to go. She even gave me a free visit to go check it out, so I went. This place was less expensive than going to my previous chiropractor even with my old insurance. I did the plan they have. They said it is what most people do, and I can see why. Best chiropractic deal in town by far. I liked the chiropractors there as well. I usually go to the female chiropractor there, but I have also been adjusted by the male chiropractor once. They are all great at what they do.

    The chiropractic adjustment I received was way cheap considering how much I paid my previous chiropractor near me in Gainesville who ran it through my insurance. I wish someone would have told me about this place sooner. I could have saved a ton. The adjustment was just as great as the one I was paying an arm and a leg for through my insurance.     I was looking for a female chiropractor in Gainesville because I have only ever gone to women chiropractors for my chiropractic adjustments. I needed to find a chiropractor near me and my job on Archer Road, so I could go after work. I found out that not only did they have a female chiropractor, but they are open until 7PM, which works for me. I don’t get out of work until 5PM, so I also needed a chiropractor who is open late. I was a little skeptical because the sign said $29 for your first visit. Sounded too good to be true. Well, it was in fact not too good to be true. What a steal! Dr. Amber was amazing. Best chiropractic adjustment I have ever had, and it was indeed only $29 for my first visit. I will be going back.

    I was looking for a chiropractor near me in Gainesville, FL that was open on Saturdays. I am always at the Butler Plaza off Archer Road on the weekends. I found The Joint Chiropractic there across the street from Butler Plaza was in fact open on Saturdays. Yay for me. I called over there, and they said that I did not need an appointment. I could just walk in…Super convenient. I drove over there. The parking lot was a little small, but it was worth it. My visit, which included everything that day, was only $29! I thought my trip to Ross was my win of the day. There were a several forms I had to fill out, which I do not enjoy, but I understood why. The more information I was able to give the doctor, the better he was able to access what was going on with me. Dr. Ben did a through exam on me. He really knew what he was talking about. I have scoliosis, so I have some stiffness in my back from that. I was stiff walking into The Joint with a little back pain too, but I felt amazing after the chiropractic adjustment Dr. Ben gave me. So much relief. It felt as good as some stranger paying off my January credit card bill after all the shopping I did in December. I would 100% recommend checking this place out.

    The coordinator Alex is wonderful Provided me with intake paperwork via email to help expedite and provide the most of my experience and service because I was doing this on my lunch hour. Dr.Ben I'd phenomenal ! He really took his time to listen to my concerns, pain and determined a treatment to help me realign. He took careful notations and explained EVERYTHING, which made for a great experience and understand of all things being done and why. The staff was all warm and so welcoming. For the space being open to other patients in shared space I really felt comfortable and and the one on one attention was really given. I was offered a reasonable and affordable plan to continue care to alleviate the stress I put on my body. High recommend

    I had a session with Dr. Ben yesterday which was my second session with him. He took his time and addressed all of my issues. I felt a lot better after I left. I've been to several Chiropractic in the area and this place is wonderful. I've traveled enough chiropractor offices in the US to know over the years the pros/cons & I've waited 2 years for this place to open in Gainesville- finally! Insurance?-Nope, no insurance is needed, leave that headache at home; pricing is simple & transparent (yep, transparent). Come for any 1 visit to try $29.99+tx OR like me... Become a key chain scanning for fast check-in membership holder for $79 (yes, everything used to be cheaper before the 20/20 of 2020! So don't let sticker shock stop you.) I ENJOY a weekly visit thrown in as needed into my schedule (that's basically $20/session (pssst...and it gets its cheaper if you need more sessions after membership...shhhh... that's a secret - you can ask them about when you sign up.) Experience: I've often compared the Joint Chiropractic experience to a 10-minute oil change service for the joints of the body! Pro-TiP: Get a massage* before you go & dig in to the muscle to loosen you up for better movement. *Even just a coin operated massage chair at a mall keosk or a gym is enough to loosen. Massage + Joint Chiropractic = Good Vibes! Both of these things will improve your body response at your next yoga session or just moving through life, like dropping your car keys on the ground and picking them up without the ooo-my bones feeling! Friendly staff too, Izzy is my fav at the door, but you will have a chance to find your favorite people here too... Lots of good options here to choose a Dr. that YOU work well with and your favorite person to check you in and out easy! CONS: The parking is limited & tricky at this location, however it will not take long for a space to get freed up since it's a fast moving little shops zone. WARNING! if you need deeper understanding of your physical pain & movement issues like tech. scan IMAGING/x-ray etc.(yikes-surgery) Scripts/shots...this is not that facility. This is the place you come after for up keep / body maintenance or The oops, I shouldn't have done to my body now what?...The joint Dr.'s can lead you in the right direction, they know what their limitations are for services so don't be afraid to ask questions. Scared to try it still? Stop walking around in pain or numbing yourself with good old, "I'm just old" denial, or "I'm fine its nothing too big" - denial... and start somewhere...     Great atmosphere! They are super fast and attentive! So far I’ve been adjusted the most by Dr. Tantillo and he’s wonderful! The front desk people are always so nice and welcoming! This is only the second chiropractor I’ve ever been to but it is by far the best! You’ll always leave there happy and feeling good!     I have a family of 5. I have 3 girls ages 6, 8, and 15 that get adjusted as well. We have all come to see the Chiropractors here since this place opened. We could not be more satisfied! The ladies at the front desk have always been wonderful and have truly gone above and beyond to help us with our accounts if we ever needed clarification or something else (we all signed up for the plan). We have not had any bad experiences. I feel the atmosphere is welcoming and professional. It's always clean. We have never waited long. I feel like they all genuinely care and we're not just another number. When we've come with certain issues or pains, I truly feel like they do their best to address it for us. Lastly, I'm teaching my girls about their bodies so I appreciate when Dr Tantillo asks permission to touch them.

    In town visiting and messed up my back. Saw them advertising specials and figured “why not.” I have a regular chiropractor back home and I’ve always been leery of these chain medical centers as they are usually run like a McDonalds. But I was in so much pain that even a bad adjustment had to make me feel a little better. So going in my expectations were very low. Happy to say I couldn’t have been more wrong. I was instantly greeted by a very friendly young lady. I believe she said her name was Isabella. She was super friendly and helpful and despite my trepidations about places like this I was never pushed into buying one of their memberships. After about 15 minutes I met the doctor and was again impressed. I was not expecting to find such high quality at “drive through” chiropractor but he took the time to give me a very thorough exam, asked lots of questions and took the time to give me some advice on my general health. I would definitely come back if I’m in the area and recommend them highly.
