Meet The Doctors
Dr. Lisa Stafford-Johnson is Georgia licensed in Chiropractic and Physiotherapy and certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE). She graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, Georgia.
Dr. Stafford-Johnson is proficient and utilizes the following adjusting techniques: Full Spine, Thompson Drop/Drop Table, Activator, and Extremity Adjusting. She also incorporates Physiotherapy modalities such as trigger point therapy, nerve flossing/mobilization, stretching, and exercises. Dr. Stafford-Johnson specializes in shoulder pain, low back pain, headaches, neck pain,TMJ disorders and wellness care, and has had success treating patients ranging from infants to seniors. Dr. Stafford-Johnson gives extra attention to the potential causes of her patients' health problems, and enjoys educating her patients about the benefits of regular chiropractic care. She is focused on increasing the overall health of her patients, so that they can achieve their optimal level of wellness.
Dr. Hunter Hoats’ was born and raised in West Point, GA. He received his B. A. in International Trade/German at Auburn University. He later moved to the Atlanta area and went to work for Delta Airlines for a few years before beginning the Doctor of Chiropractic curriculum at Life University. Dr. Hoats’ first Chiropractic patient experience came after injuring his low back and going to see his friend, who was a student at Life University, at the Outpatient Clinic at University. It was such a profound and common sense experience that he decided to become a Doctor of Chiropractic himself. He applied to Life University in Marietta Georgia and received his D.C. degree in ‘97. Dr. Hoats worked in the Atlanta area for a few years before moving to Seattle, WA and opening up a Clinic with his wife which they operated until 2017. At this time they moved back to their home state of Georgia and in 2018 Dr. Hoats began working for The Joint Chiropractic.
