Dr. Christina Brinker was born in Chesterfield, Michigan and became a chiropractic patient at the age of 14. After experiencing life changing results, there was no doubt in her mind that she was meant to be a chiropractor. Dr. Christina graduated from Michigan State University's Lyman Briggs Honors College before attending Life University's College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia. Upon receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2014, Dr. Christina started practicing family chiropractic in the metro Atlanta area. She served all types of people and cases, including migraine relief, sciatica pain, neck pain, and lower back pain. Dr. Christina is also a certified pregnancy chiropractor, and is a specialist in the Webster Technique. After falling in love with the city of Savannah, she moved to the lowcountry and joined The Joint team in April of 2021.
Dr. Christina said, "The best thing about being a chiropractor is helping people of all ages, from babies to great grandparents, achieve better health. If I hadn't found chiropractic at a young age, I'm concerned that I would have had a life of pain, drugs and surgeries. Helping pregnant women holds a special place in my heart, because pregnancy, birth and parenthood are milestones that should be celebrated. Helping women to enjoy their pregnancy and have a better birth is my biggest joy in life!" In an effort to empower women to take charge of their health, Dr. Christina is an advisor at 4 universities in the southeast.
In her spare time, Dr. Christina loves spending time with her husband, Brandt, and their 2 very spoiled rescue dogs. They enjoy traveling, exploring their new hometown, being outdoors, and watching college football.

Dr. Plaisance has completed a Danskin Triathlon, several running events including the Seattle Rock & Roll half-marathon and any mud run she could find. In her down time, she enjoys golf, live jazz and coaching women to discover their health and life passions.
