Dr. Ahmed Migdadi, D.C. was raised in Oak Creek, WI, a small town south of Milwaukee. As Kid, he was a devoted athlete participating in soccer, basketball, and football. He earned his bachelor’s degree at UWM in biochemistry. As a result of his unrelenting interest in athletics and science of the human body anatomy, he enrolled at National University of Health Sciences, located in Lombard, IL. Throughout his four years at NUHS, he learned sharp approaches to patient care by combining clinical skills and making a treatment plan that fits the particular person's needs. His professional protocols include spinal and extremity manipulation, advanced rehabilitation exercises, nutrition, and kinseo-taping. One of his specialties is dealing with chronic headaches and migraines. He offers unique treatments for infants, children, adults, and elderly patients. “What continues to inspire me, as chiropractic physician” is to improve the public health and outlook on how to best stay healthy. It always seems that we are the last hope for many patients that fear there may not be an answer to the health challenges they face. I enjoy those challenges; it makes you go the distance to provide those solutions for these challenging problems. I have a passion for helping others and helping to improve patients overall health and wellness.
Dr. Carson Aune was a four sport athlete while growing up in Oakes, North Dakota, earning college scholarships for both basketball and track and field. As a collegiate javelin thrower at the University of Mary, Dr. Carson suffered a stress fracture in his low back. He continued to compete with excruciating back pain for three years, as the fracture went undiagnosed. When he finally met with an orthopedist, he was quickly told he would need surgery to fuse his spine — a procedure that would end his career. When Dr. Carson asked the doctor if there was an alternative, the doctor told him that he could continue to compete and would be a wheelchair user by the age of 30.
The first person who was able to help him get an accurate diagnosis and pain relief was his team chiropractor. The experience was so transformative that he withdrew from his pre-physical therapy program to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Carson graduated from Logan University with a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences in 2009, then completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2011. While completing his chiropractic degree at Logan University, he also obtained his Master’s degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation, including a clinical externship with the University of Maryland’s Sports Medicine department.
Dr. Carson is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP®) and is a Titleist Performance Institute Medical 3 certified professional.
Carson lives in Silver Spring, MD with his family. He and his wife, Rebecca, are licensed foster parents and permanent parents to three rescue poodles. When not at work, Carson and Rebecca are often driving kids to extracurricular activities in opposite directions, helping with homework, or sitting in bleachers and auditoriums cheering on the kiddos in their care. He also enjoys playing golf — he’s an aspiring long drive competitor — and follows the Washington Nationals and Capitals.
Dr. Sherdane Harper is from Kansas City, Missouri. She completed her bachelors degree in health science, at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, FL. While earning her bachelors degree she cheered on the university cheerleading team. It was her experience in gymnastics, cheerleading, and AAU track and filed that ultimately led her to chiropractic care. While shadowing professions in college Dr. Harper fell in love with chiropractic and decide that she would like to pursue a doctorate degree in chiropractic.
She attended Palmer College of Chiropractic-FL campus, where she learned and perfected her craft. Dr. Harper graduated cum-laude with her doctorate of chiropractic degree.
She uses Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson and Activator technique. She specializes in Webster Technique (safe and effective technique used during pregnancy) and a current Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner candidate.
Her hobbies include hot yoga, traveling and spending quality time with family/friends.
Her motto is “practice what you preach”. She uses routine chiropractic care to optimize her quality of life and stay sharp mentally and physically.
