So , I had found this place after having an AWFUL experience at Dr. Boehmers office. I went in due to agonizing neck pain from intense migraines. They took me in immediately at 5 pm, as I was determined to find somewhere who will do a same day adjustment before leaving Columbia. They brought me back for my adjustment where I felt INSTANT relief from my migraines and tense neck pain. I can't even put into words how I felt after my treatment. I wanted to cry because of how much relief I received. I don't remember the guys name that did the treatment, but I couldn't thank him enough. All I wanted was my neck adjusted that day and he got the job done. It is the next day after my treatment that I'm typing this, and I feel like a whole new person. I finally slept, am able to finally move my neck. The migraines were effecting my everyday life at home and work. I can't recommend them enough honestly. Thank you for helping me and making my life more bearable. I will always recommend this place to anyone asking for chiropractic services. But DO NOT go to Boehmer chiropractic. PATIENT BEWARE – LIFE-ALTERING EXPERIENCE WITH SERIOUS INJURIES I never imagined that a routine chiropractic visit at The Joint Chiropractic would change my life. My regular chiropractor of 19 years was temporarily closed for remodeling, so while I was out shopping, I scheduled an appointment at The Joint Chiropractic because they had an opening and were conveniently located. Prior to this visit, I had ZERO history of vertigo, balance issues, neck injuries, strokes, or any other serious health concerns. I was healthy, active, and had never experienced anything remotely like what happened after this appointment. I explained that my shoulders were extremely tight from spending many hours wrapping Christmas presents. After only a brief assessment, the chiropractor immediately manipulated my neck. The instant he did, I felt what I can only describe as a severe, shooting pain that traveled from my neck to the top of my head. I immediately told him something was wrong because I had never experienced anything like that in nearly two decades of chiropractic care. He assured me it was nothing to worry about and said I would feel better within a few hours. I left the office, but something didn't feel right. My husband picked me up, and I told him exactly what had happened. Once I got home, I was unsteady on my feet. I thought maybe I just needed to rest for the weekend, but my condition rapidly deteriorated. Every time I stood up, I experienced severe vertigo, became violently ill, and began vomiting. Hoping it would improve, I tried to rest, but instead I literally crashed. I was rushed by ambulance to the emergency room, where I remained for approximately 36 hours undergoing extensive testing, including EKGs, ultrasounds, and MRIs. My treating physicians ultimately determined that I had suffered a vertebral artery dissection following the neck manipulation. They told me I was incredibly lucky to be alive. The recovery that followed was one of the hardest experiences of my life. It took weeks before I could walk again and months before I could walk without some form of assistance. I was unable to return to work for several months. Beyond the physical and emotional trauma, this experience also left me with significant medical debt, something I never imagined would result from seeking treatment for sore shoulders after spending hours wrapping Christmas presents. I am only sharing my story now because I have been somewhat medically cleared and have finally been taken off all of my medications. While I have come a long way, my recovery is not over. At this point, the only thing that can continue to heal is time. I continue to struggle with memory and cognitive issues. I often lose my train of thought in the middle of a sentence, forget what I was talking about, and have difficulty recalling conversations. These are challenges I live with every day as a result of this life-altering experience. This review reflects my personal experience. I just want to say that everyone that works at this location are very professional. Dr. Hodge and Dr Riley are miracle workers. After being a OTR truck driver for 11 hrs. My back was definitely messed up. There would be days that I would have a hard time getting out of bed, my middle back and lower back was what I had pain at, well after coming with Dr Hodge, it definitely has help me tremendously. The turnover is too much hardly ever get to know the techs or doctors this clinic is nothing like it was initially my recent visits seem to be like just go through the motions and get me out no specific care for the issues I'm experiencing at the time of my visit. I fell on my knee 3 months ago and I was using crutches. After going to the orthopedic dr and getting X-rays, I saw the best doctor at the joint. He pulled on my leg and I got up and had no pain! As a commercial driver it’s hard to find good resources to help with overall health. The receptionist was friendly from the second that I walked into the office. Dr. Riley, was absolutely amazing. I am so grateful for the care I received here, after many many years if back pain, I finally sleep well again. Every chiropractor has been wonderful, they are caring, and super nice, and always make you feel better after a treatment. First experience with a Chiropractor but I know the difference in poor practice and genuine care and they definitely aim to take care of you. Came in to get evaluated as the day before I had an excruciating migraine and jaw pain to the point I fainted from pain. Went to the ER and they treated me like I was some addict trying to get help when I couldn't form sentences properly after had just woken up from fainting in the car. Went to an urgent care after waiting for a very long time at the ER with no movement in patients whatsoever, to then get a shot and steroids in which both did not help. 15 minutes of this man's time and he alleviated all the pain in my head from a few simple alignments that I had no idea about. He then set me up with a treatment plan as well as a great deal on them with the full confidence that he's there to take care of me. I could not be more pleased with his work. Thank you so much for truly taking the time to take me seriously and not try to just get me out of the door, even though it was all very quick and easy! 10/10 recommend!

I appreciate the walk-in convenience. I also like the extended hours of operation and especially the friendly staff. I was driving from KC to St. Louis and my neck was extremely tight all the way down to my lower back. I was in so much discomfort I searched for a Joint Chiropractor on my way and found a location in Columbia. Looked at my eta and it said I would arrive right when they were about to close. I called and they said they would help me if I can get there by closing. Which I did. It was so helpful and it made the rest of my trip much much better.

AMAZING. I’ve been going to the joint for a good while now. ALL amazing staff! I always feel welcomed and taken care of. Today I went in after not having an adjustment for over 6 weeks due to being out of state and unable. My hips sit uneven and unfortunately going that long without an adjustment is so painful! Today Dr.Morrow was able to capture the drastic difference in the first photo and work his magic to get the results of the second photo. I highlyyy recommend this place and specifically Dr.Morrow to anyone who is considering chiropractic care. Gods work. ? I couldn’t be more thankful for the care I have received — most especially today. (Considering how uneven my hips sit, it would be nearly impossible to get me fully aligned in just one visit after going so long without an adjustment — so the difference in the second photo is truly incredible, and I feel SO much relief!)

Wow! Dr Morrow found a source of discomfort that I had just learned to live with. The best endorsement of chiropractic care is what he said, comparing our bodies to a screw left in place, it will rust & become immovable. If it is adjusted & turned from time to time, it stalls that rusting, i.e., "aging"! You rock Dr. Morrow!

This place is the best! I was having so much pain and discomfort and even after 1 visit I feel so much better! The girl at the front desk was super nice and helpful. I saw Dr. Alex and she was fantastic. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the body. She was patient and explained things in an easy and concise manner, she worked my pelvis and spine and relieved a lot of the pain that I was having. Afterwards she showed me a stretching technique that will help me with my tightness and actually did it herself so I can see exactly how to do it instead of just handing me a paper with the stretch on it. I am very happy with this place and will definitely be back. If you go and are offered a wellness plan, it is a really good deal and very flexible as far as when you can get in for your sessions and the level of care is excellent. I highly recommend. Went in for an adjustment on 8-1-25. took all my items out of my pockets. When I left I must have messed my pocket knife that I had. It was a gift from a Vietnam veteran friend that has passed away. I called back up there and they said it was there but. When I called the next day to make sure they where open and what time they closed. They said it was thrown away because it looked dangerous. I am getting conflicting reports from them. I would not use this place if they are going to just chuck your personal items.

The staff was great, very helpful. The doctor was also great. Dr. Alex was really thorough. Did a great job on my hip and lower back. My only issue, I got there at 5:30 they closed at 7:00. The receptionist said their policy was they could only take one new patient at that time. I could barely walk in there with my hip out of line. I originally got turned away. But there was a gentleman also a new patient that just registered. He said he could come back the next day and I could have his spot. To me thats a pretty crappy policy to turn someone away cause it was a hour and half before they closed.

I was hesitant to see a chiropractor. I have had issues with my back that would keep me down and not able to move for days somewhere near 20 years. I have had CT scans, MRI’s, X-Rays you name it. I was told you are drug seeking and couldn’t get anything for pain most of the time. It affected every aspect of my life. Finally it just didn’t stop. When searching The Joint Chiropractic popped up everywhere. They took walk-in’s so I took a chance. After just a few minutes they stated my ribs had been popping in and out of place. No machines just their knowledge. We set up a plan and I cannot believe the relief I have had! It is going to take a lot of time to fix all the damage but it is well with it! Now my new PCP is telling me to follow every one of their instructions to the letter! Have an issue do not wait! They are amazing!!!

Both my husband and I appreciate the help we have received from Joint Chiropractic. I went to them because I had hurt my back and wanted them to help. Over a year ago I had fallen and developed brucitis of the right hip. Well when they started helping me, not only have they helped the back pain, they found that my hip had rotated and froze. They have helped unlock my hips, which has helped several other health issues!! It has helped the back pain, eased the brucitis that has bothered me for over a year; my leaky bladder is doing better, and I am getting more mobility in my right hip! Have been told for years that going to a chiropractor could help with symptoms of having MS. I finally listened and went to Dr. David at The Joint. Working with him has made an enormous impact! I have to be better at keeping my visits more routine but his staff is always nice and his bedside manner is amazing! He genuinely seems to care about his patients and just wants to help. I’ve seen tons of doctors throughout the years and I know how valuable and rare that is. I highly recommend giving The Joint and Dr. David a try. They have reasonably priced services and the customer service alone is worth that.

I feel like I was lied to about what the pricing was going to be. I bought the wellness package and was told by three different people at two different locations that my extra visits would be $10 each. I realized later they had been charging me $20 for each additional visit. I called and the front desk told me an Ashley would be calling be back…no one ever did. I went in for an adjustment and talked to them in the office and they made it clear to me that they absolutely did not care. They said there had been a policy change. Three different times I had been told the extra visits were only $10. They were completely rude to me in office and I felt like they were laughing in my face. I will never step foot in this place again. It’s my opinion that it’s better to find a locally run chiropractor who actually cares about their patients.

I was having a lot of lower back pain to the point it was waking me up in the middle of the night and would hurt to even turn over onto my other side. I was also having nerve pain shooting down the front of my thighs. I decided to give Joint Chiropractor a try. Clint was the one who adjust me and honestly, I am feeling 98 percent better. I say 98 , because it has only been two days and I know my muscles are still recovering from the pain they were in prior to going in. However, I already have 98 percent pain relief and know my back is in way better shape now then it was before. I am very thankful for his help. Receptionist was very kind as was Clint the physical therapist or Dr. or whatever their proper title is. Anyway, he did an excellent job!
