Meet The Doctors
The Fort Dix location is proud that Dr. Joseph DeTullio joined its team in 2023 to provide important healthcare services to the local community.
The best thing about being in the chiropractic field for Dr. DeTullio is “saving lives” with “the chiropractic philosophy.” He also enjoys the “chiropractic lifestyle.”
Dr. Joe, as his patients call him, grew up on Long Island in New York and has worked previously in East Fishkill, NY. In his spare time, he enjoys his pet goldfish and taking nature walks with the love of his life, his wife MaryAnn. Dr. Joe has a son Daniel and a daughter Melissa, both of whom are chiropractors as well.
A graduate of SUNY Farmingdale with a degree in nursing and an associate’s degree in science, Dr. Joe earned his doctorate from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY.
When asked when he knew chiropractic was his calling, Dr. Joe states “when a chiropractor made me feel better, heal better and made my life better and explained ‘The Big Idea.’”
Dr. Joe says the best part about working at The Joint Fort Dix is the location and being able to serve the members of all military branches through chiropractic care.
In case you didn’t know
Dr. Joe says the one staple in his kitchen is eggs; “I love them, it’s a near perfect food and they are free when my chickens start laying.”
If Dr. Joe could bring together any four people from history for his perfect dinner party, he would invite Jesus Christ, BJ Palmer, Donald Trump and George Washington. Why these four? “To try to make Heaven on Earth.”
The coolest thing he’s ever done is “opening up my practice two months after graduation, debt-free.”
