Dr. Stefanie Fuess was born and raised in Southern California. In 2009 she graduated with honors from University of Western States in Portland, OR earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor's degree in General Science from Oregon State University. Although she is newly licensed in North Carolina, she has plenty of experience successfully treating patients in Oregon. Her goals include providing the best care possible, along with educating her patients about the benefits of chiropractic care and how it can help them remain/become healthy.
Dr. Ahmed Migdadi, D.C. Was raised in Oak Creek, WI, a small town south of Milwaukee. As Kid, Dr. Migdadi was devoted athlete participating in soccer, basketball, and football. Dr. Migdadi earned his bachelor’s degree at UWM in biochemistry. As a result of his unrelenting interest in athletics and science of the human body anatomy, Dr. Migdadi enrolled at National University of Health Sciences, located in Lombard, IL. Throughout his four year at NUHS, Dr. Migdadi learned sharp approaches to patient care by combining clinical skills and making treatment plan that fits the particular person needs. His professional protocols include spinal and extremity manipulation, advanced rehabilitation exercises, nutrition, and kinseo-taping. One of his specialties is dealing with chronic headaches and migraines. Dr. Migdadi offers unique treatments for infants, children, adults, and elderly patients.
“What continues to inspire me, as chiropractic physician” is to improve the public health and outlook on how to best stay healthy. It always seems that we are the last hope for many patients that fear there may not be an answer to the health challenges they face. I really enjoy those challenges; it makes you go the distance to provide those solutions for these challenging problems. I have a passion for helping others and helping to improve patients overall health and wellness.

Dr. Mia Allisyn Cunningham was born in Tampa, FL. And raised in Charlotte, NC. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in 2009 from Hampton University, Hampton, VA. Her major was Cellular and Molecular Biology. Dr. Mia continued her education at Life University, School of Chiropractic Medicine, Marietta, GA where she graduated in 2014.
Since graduating she has worked as a Chiropractor in Atlanta, GA, Winston Salem, NC and Charlotte, NC. She joined the Joint at the Aboretum on February 18, 2019.
Dr. Mia decided to become a chiropractor after doing a special project on the nervous system while in undergraduate school. She wanted to develop her skills in an area of science that would allow her to make a difference in the health lives of people all around the community. She believes that helping people through chiropractic medicine helps her patients to lead more rewarding lives. Dr. Cunningham has a published research paper Journal of Chiropractic Medicine “The Resolution of Enuresis and Constipation : Case Study “.
Dr. Mia enjoys working out, reading and traveling. Her belief is that if these three things are a part of your life it positions you to have a great overall life experience. The one thing that Dr. Mia canʼt do without during the course of a day in “juice”. She basically lives on juices rather than solid food. She has been this way for most of her life.
Dr. Mia confides that is she could choose a dinner date it would likely be one of the following individuals, Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, John F. Kennedy, Martin L King or Lucille Ball.
She believes that the Obamas are just genuine kind people with son much to offer to the betterment of our society. John F. Kennedy made significant movement towards equality for all people in our country. Martin Luther King pathed the way for closing the gap between what is right and what is wrong in our country about people relationships and equality for all. Well, Lucille Ball was just down right funny and when watching her old films, she gives you that laugh that makes your day brighter.
The coolest thing Dr. Cunningham has done is jump from an airplane . Which she states was the most freeing moment of her life.
Dr. Darryll Williams is a “military brat” from Fayetteville, NC. He majored in Molecular Biology and graduated with his Bachelor’s of Science degree in 2004 from Winston-Salem State University. After a brief stint as a teacher, he pursed a chiropractic career and graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2009.
Since graduating, Dr. Williams has practiced in clinics all over North and South Carolinas and has been clinic director in several places. Dr. Williams was also apart opening and running the inaugural the Joint clinic in NC back in 2012. Dr. Williams recently returned to the Joint family in February 2019. He brings back with him the ability find and treat subluxations of the spine to help improve the overall health and wellness of his patients.
Dr. Williams enjoys working out, spending time with his wife and baby son, and traveling. He also enjoys playing Xbox and snowboarding. He believes that a good work and personal life balance is essential to your health and well-being.
