The Joint Tees Up Sponsorship for Charity Golf
The Joint Chiropractic-Brier Creek Comons will be among those participating in the second annual ACHC Charity Golf Tournament, which tees off on May 22 at Brier Creek Country Club.
"This is a great opportunity for the community to show their support for SAFEchild and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle," said Dr. Todd Wegerski of The Joint Chiropractic.
The Joint is a sponsor of the community event that raises proceeds for two worthwhile organizations, SAFEchild, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle; they serve multiple counties in Central North Carolina.
SAFEchild, an acronym for Stop Abuse For Every child, has as its mission to build a stronger family and create a healthy, nurturing environment which allows children to thrive. Big Brothers Big Sisters is the nation's largest donor and volunteer-supported mentoring network for children ages 6-14.
The Joint invites its patients to join them in supporting these charities through a great day of golf on the 18-hole Arnold Palmer-designed championship layout.
Those interested in participating in the four-man scramble format are encouraged to sign up promptly at the ACHC Charity Golf Tournament site. The event begins Monday, May 22, at 10:30 a.m., and continues into the evening. Registration includes 18 holes of golf, a raffle ticket, meals and beverages, and an event T-shirt and goody bag.
