You'll end up with an ache in your neck or shoulder at the very least. Switch to a two-shoulder backpack instead. Both straps get utilized so the bag's weight is evenly distributed and you're less likely to experience discomfort.

Switch Flats or Heels With Comfortable and Supportive Footwear

Flat sandals, high heels, and other shoes that offer no support are not ideal. Your legs will be screaming in pain by the end of the day when you wear these -- especially if you have to do a lot of walking. You should always choose supportive footwear that helps with shock absorption and keeps your body feeling fine no matter how long you're on your feet.

Switch Your Bare Kitchen Chair With a Well-Cushioned Seat

The bare kitchen chairs most commonly seen are hard to sit on. Some try to add a seat cushion, but that only helps to an extent. Even if you're only sitting there for mealtimes, it can be enough to leave your lower back feeling sore. Get cushioned seats with lumbar support instead. It will help prevent pain and be more comfortable to sit and dine in.

Switch Your Old Mattress With a Memory Foam Version

An old mattress doesn't help you get a good night's rest. After eight years on average, you should be replacing the one you have. When you realize it's time to switch, opt for a memory foam mattress. This version is often easier on the back and helps conform to the body for a comfortable night's sleep. Regardless of the kind you choose, though, the point is to get a new version that isn't saggy, sinking, and dilapidated.
