For Dr. Tyler Ledford, chiropractic care is a passion that was waiting for the right time to manifest. His burning desire to be a chiropractor didn't show up until age 22 when he got involved in an incident that resulted in his first adjustment. At this point, Dr. Ledford discovered chiropractic was real, and he immediately thought of how he could use it to give millions of patients a life they had always wanted. This led Tyler to pursue a career in delivering chiropractic care, and he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in 2017.
He also holds an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and physiology from Appalachian State University.
Multi-Faceted Medical Training.
Dr. Ledford’s love for learning is second to none. It was this burning desire to know more that led him to study chiropractic, but it didn't end there. He still went on to specialize his study in different areas like public health, wellness, and kinesiology.
Dr. Ledford believes in the power of knowledge and is open to know more...this makes him different from other chiropractors in Durham, NC and beyond. The good thing about Dr. Ledford’s knowledge base is his ability to detect issues in other parts of the body and its cure. Dr. Ledford can help you walk through any health problem asides chiropractic, his medical training has given him the ability to help people naturally on a daily basis.
Non-Invasive Pain Relief.
Natural/non-invasive treatment is what Dr. Ledford lives for. His medical practice focuses more in using exercise and fitness, physical therapy, nutrition, and non-surgical method for the relief and treatment of body pains.
He has been using this natural method since his chiropractic workdays in North Raleigh, Garner, and Chapel Hill. Now, he is using the same method at The Joint Chiropractic in Durham, NC.
Surgery is a NO-NO for Dr. Leford due to unforeseen consequences in the long run. "Chiropractic care can cure any minor/critical health condition"-Dr. Ledford says.
Dr. Tyler Ledford was born and raised in Hendersonville, North Carolina. He has a spouse Lisa, with no kids or pets yet. During his spare time, he enjoys running, hiking, traveling, playing golf, reading, spending time with his family and friends, and trying new things. He also loves coconut water and likes to make all his smoothies with it.
Dr. Arian Kelley grew up in rural Gustavus, Ohio and it was as an 8th grader that he was introduced to biomechanics due to foot and lower back pain while playing on the local basketball team. Several years later his family relocated to Concord NC in 1985 where later he was introduced to the benefits of chiropractic while experiencing various aches and pains.
In 1992 he moved to Wilmington, NC to attend UNCW. In April of 1994, and while mountain biking, had an accident and broke his right collarbone. A friend worked with a local chiropractor and suggested he consult with the Doctor. He consulted with them but, his fracture was so new that the Doctor encouraged him to return in 4-6 weeks after the fracture had healed. After weeks of suffering and wearing a brace, he returned to the Chiropractor and with chiropractic adjustments, was remarkably impressed with the results! It was at that time that his personal results with chiropractic care inspired him to become a chiropractor. His mother was an R.N. and his father was a mechanic; so the combination of healthcare and Bio-mechanics made sense to him, so he pursued and completed the educational requirements at UNCW necessary to apply to Chiropractic College and was soon after enrolled at The Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas.
Over the last 22 years, Dr. Kelley has practiced in Dallas, Texas, Virginia, Rocky Mount and Wilmington, North Carolina.
He enjoys helping patients improve their health and well being through chiropractic care and healthy lifestyle methods. He enjoys helping people ‘take care of their temple’ with gentle effective chiropractic adjustments of the spine, and the extremities, including the ribs, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles and feet. He has experience in family practice, personal injury care, wellness care, and peak performance athletic care. He is dedicated to serving patients to the best of his ability including educational biomechanical counseling through proper stretching and biomechanical do’s and don’ts so patients and people can be their active BEST!
Dr. Kelley is happy to serve patients with various techniques, including Diversified, Thompson Drop Methods, Gonstead, Motion Palpation, CBP, Activator Methods, Extremity adjustments, and various other effective chiropractic methods.
In his spare time, Dr. Kelley enjoys fitness activities including biking, walking, running, resistance training, dining out, and investing quality time with friends and family.
In his refrigerator, you’ll find plenty of veggies, fruits, and high quality proteins. He’s especially fond of bright multicolored salads that often include romaine lettuce, celery, carrots, blueberries, kale, onions, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, raspberries and strawberries.
