No matter what the reason is for snacking less while camping, the benefits are the same. Snacking less can be a great way to promote weight loss and improve health.

Those who make the habit of camping participate in exercise without even trying. Many find themselves going on hikes, taking the canoe on the river or lake, boating, or enjoying a host of other acitivies. These are a few of the reasons why health and wellness experts suggest avid campers tend to be more physically fit than those who do not.

Research has long suggested that fresh air and sunlight offer many benefits for overall health. Vitamin D is naturally provided by the sun. Spending time outdoors allows you to soak it up. Healthcare providers have suggested that spending time in the fresh air can help boost the immune system. Camping allows each person to reap the benefits of both.
