Meet The Doctors

Dr. Christina Judon, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Mt. Juliet

Hello, my name is Dr Christina Judon. I was a military kid who grew up in Clarksville, TN.

I love fitness! I enjoy running, hiking, biking and Crossfit. I coached Crossfit while in chiropractic school. In high school and in college, I competed in cross country and track. At Tennessee Tech, the 800 was my main event. To this day, I still have a special place in my heart for track. Being on a team, taught me how important it is not only to set goals and foster my own dreams but also to encourage and push others to do the same as well.

After college, I moved to Charlotte and worked as an Engineer and realized I wanted to do something that allowed me to help others on a more personal level. I started with small steps like getting my certification in personal training though Athletics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and a postural and motion certification with Egoscue Posture Therapy. I loved the small steps I had taken but decided it was time for a big leap into the service and healthcare industry so I went back to school full time at Sherman College in Spartanburg, SC and became a Doctor of Chiropractic.

I love my career! What I love most is helping others and seeing them move to a level of health and wellness beyond their expectations and dreams by simply taking a proactive approach to their health.

Dr. Rowen Pfeifer, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Mt. Juliet

Dr. Rowen S. Pfeifer became part of The Joint Chiropractic’s team of local healthcare providers in 2019, and in 2021 became a franchise owner to serve residents in Belleview and Jackson.

“The best thing about being a chiropractor is helping patients regain their health and decrease their pain,” he says. “I love the virtually constant positive feedback we receive from patients on a daily basis. The response they give with the adjustment of almost every area is extremely rewarding.”

Dr. Rowen, as his patients call him, has practiced in the greater Nashville area since 1987. He grew up in Wisconsin loving sports and having the freedom to explore. He and his wife of more than four decades have two adult children and a bijon who loves to chase squirrels and deer in the yard. He likes to relax through music, which includes playing guitar, drums, and singing classic rock songs. In addition to working around the yard, he enjoys water skiing, snow skiing, and springboard and cliff diving.

Dr. Rowen graduated cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he received his doctorate, after attending two years of pre-med at Middle Tennessee State. “I learned about chiropractic while searching for the principles of health and healing,” he says. “I ended up with an issue that required chiropractic care, the issue resolved, and a few years later I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor.”

One of Dr. Rowen’s most memorable successes as a chiropractor took place when he was caring for a family who had a son who was a 12-year-old bed-wetter. “They had tried many options, without success,” he says. “After a short time of receiving adjustments, the bed-wetting stopped. He stayed under maintenance care for years. At age 18, he was a passenger in a van that flipped over resulting in trauma to the low back and a return of the bed wetting. We saw him more frequently for a short time and again resolved the issue.”

In Case You Didn’t Know

If he could bring together any four people from history for his ideal dinner party, Dr. Rowen would love to sit down with Albert Einstein, Jesus Christ, and Biblical heroes Moses and Abraham. “Talking science with Einstein would be amazing, but talking to the others about faith, commitment, love, and how to hear the Father’s still small voice would be life-changing,” he says.

Dr. Rowen says the coolest thing he has ever done was step out and shake things up. “I left a dead-end job at age 20 to play what’s now known as classic rock ‘n’ roll full-time on the road for three years,” he says. “Until then, I had never traveled more than an hour from where I was born. The experience helped me grow up and learn a lot about myself.”

The items that Dr. Rowen always keeps stocked in his kitchen are organic fruits and vegetables. “They’re always on hand at home so that I can make fruit smoothies and huge salads that I enjoy most every day of the week,” he says.

Dr. Amy Jeffery, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Mt. Juliet

Dr. Amy Jeffery, D.C. was born and raised in Belding, MI. She attended Oakland University in Rochester, MI where she earned a bachelors in Liberal Arts. Dr. Jeffery attended Life University in Marietta, GA where she earned her chiropractic degree and graduated with honors.

Upon receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Amy started practicing family chiropractic in Columbia, SC learning to serve all types of people and cases, including migraine relief, sciatica pain, neck pain, and lower back pain through the use of manual manipulation. She has been involved in family chiropractic for more than twenty three years. She was in private practice for over 16 years in SC. She has worked with The Joint franchise for seven years including Rock Hill/Fort Mill, SC for a year and a half and the Nashville joint locations since 2017.

Dr. Amy says the best thing about being a chiropractor is being able to help others: “The best thing about being in the chiropractic profession is having the ability to help people improve their quality of life through affordable and routine chiropractic care.”

In her spare time, she enjoys working out at Orange Theory Fitness, cooking, and reading with mysteries being her favorite genre.

In Case You Didn’t Know

Dr. Amy has a one eyed cat named Wink that she adopted from a rescue group in 2020. The one food that Dr. Amy could not live without is chocolate, “because everyone needs a little chocolate in their life :)”. She loves true crime. The coolest thing that she ever did was run a half marathon. “It was so amazing to see that I could complete what I thought was impossible for me. One of the proudest moments that I have”.

Dr. Brandon Bailey, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Mt. Juliet

Dr. Bailey grew up in Brentwood and has spent the majority of his life in the greater Nashville area. He is a third-generation chiropractor, and many of his family members have been serving the region for decades! He got his Bachelors in Science from Excelsior College, and then went on to study at Life University, where he focused on Specific Upper Cervical Chiropractic and graduated with his doctorate in 2005. Dr. Bailey joined our Mt. Juliet office in October 2023, but has been working with The Joint for several years.

For Dr. Bailey, the best thing about being a chiropractor would be delivering adjustments that allow patients to reach their optimal health. His hobbies include working in film, playing the guitar, golf, basketball and cooking. He has two daughters, and they enjoy spending time cooking and hiking together.

Fun fact: Dr. Bailey was a production assistant for a short horror film that was featured in the Franklin film festival. He loved being able to see his name in the credits, and it was extra special that it showed in a theatre he frequented growing up.
