First time chiropractor patient here, So for you first timers looking for a review this is the one to read. Went in limping in for a sciatic nerve pain and I was scared because I never had an adjustment from a chiropractor. I had all the nerves and didn’t know what to expect but Dr. Johnson assured me I was in good hands and that he would take good care of me. After all said and done, he guide me and gave me the right process gave me some good stretch's even explained to me the benefits of getting an adjustment and how it would help me long-term, especially with my sciatic pain. So are you first timers just going ask for Dr. Johnson he’s great at what he does.

I visited the joint chiropractic at 5425 South Padre Island Drive, Suite #146 Corpus Christi, TX, May 24, 2024. The reception was less than warm, and though one of the doctors did take time to speak to my wife and I, I was a little uneasy, but went ahead to continued with the adjustment. Matthew was the person to perform this adjustment. For some reason, he seemed a little preoccupied and kept looking around as he was speaking to me. His adjustment techniques were not solid and this created more pain for me as my issues were not addressed. After the failed adjustment Matthew apologize and wanted to sell me into a membership which I declined. On Saturday, I received a call from Veronica from the joint chiropractic. She wanted to know what happen, offering a free adjustment or my funds returned. I voiced my concerns but felt I was more of a problems, as her demeanor was already set. This was sad and insulting to me. After a short conversation she advised me her company works to satisfy all their clients and if I was unable to come in, that she would refund the appointment. My last words were, I was hurt some by Matthew and my trust is weak to have another person adjust me. Later I found out that Veronica called my wife and inquired about changing her review as part of a refund process. My wife did agree, but this tactic was wrong.
Conclusion: when a company provides these services every client should be given 100 percent attention, and do no harm, and not to manipulate the situation. This did not occur

I was experiencing pain in my mid back and neck and decided to go to the Joint for an adjustment. When I checked in the receptionist ask if I had a doctor preference, I did not. The wait was short, which is the only good thing about this visit.
The doctor instructed me to lay face down on the treatment table. He did not ask about where I was experiencing pain or what kind of pain. He simply used both hands and pushed on 4 places on my back then used the drop table 5 times. He then had me sit up and used some kind of tool to punch on my neck and around my left ear. Less than 2 minutes from the time I walked into the treatment room he informed me he was done and I had experienced a new form of treatment. I was completely astonished! I walked out in more pain than when I went in!!!
If this “doctor” had read my file and spent a few seconds talking with me he would have known I have stenosis in my lower back and he should not use the drop table. Additionally, if he would have taken even a little time he could have properly adjusted my back and neck, but it seemed he just couldn’t do that even if it meant leaving his patient in more pain.

Dr. Mike and Dr. Travis can flip me like a patty and pop me like rice crispy treats and I feel like I come back to life with each back popping session. As a nurse I have back pain but my pain has decreased significantly with sessions through the joint. The front desk lady is also super nice and compliments my new bronco. Dr. Travis and Dr. Mike know all my stubborn spots and save me everytime. I literally just had the best session with Dr. Travis 15 minutes ago he was super quick and got all the spots I needed he’s perfect thank you!!!

Was in your for the weekend and started to hurt from my upper back and left are googled chiropractor and found this place put my info in and said I qualify for a 29$ new patient adjustment website says they close at 4:00pm on Saturday and Sunday so left the motel
Was in a lot of pain website says close at 4:00pm on Saturday and sundays I got there at 3:20 and the lady at the desk said I couldn’t be seen because they close at 5:00pm and sarcastically asked me what I had been doing all day so I walked out I will lay in the motel room in pain until I can get home to see my chiropractor thanks for nothing!

Visiting from Phoenix and needed an adjustment. I cannot rave enough about Dr. Nicosia! Just wow! He took his time by stretching me out before he worked his magic. He performed a few more adjustments that my Chiropractor in Phoenix has never done. What a huge difference! I have a new Chiropractor when I come back to Corpus. Thank you Dr. Nicosia!

Suffered from a bad sciatica experience for three months visited this Corpus Christi location they explained to me on the first visit it's not light flipping a switch, in two weeks I was back too
normal and been going ever week your visits are short, but the effects are lasting, I am 60 years old and feel really good and you sleep good too.

I was a patient of Dr Ashley Beyer when she was in Dallas, and she did wonders on me! I have been a long-sufferer of migraines and have in the past been prescribed several high-strength painkillers. When Dr Beyer began working on me, my migraines significantly dropped in frequency and intensity. Needless to say, this improved my daily life and allowed me to participate in activities that were previously hindered by the migraines. She also helped with out of place ribs, vertebrae, and hips that were making life painful for me. Overall she has great bedside manners and knowledge, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Was directed to the joint after filling out the info online only to get there and be refused as a new patient. I understand things have changed with covid, and the website should reflect those changes. The receptionist was neither helpful nor friendly . But I chose this place do to the weekend hours. As service provider myself , who sees clients hourly every day I cannot in good conscience recommend this location

This was my first visit to a chiropractor after many years. I've had a terrible lower back pain for the last three days and finally told my sister about it. I thought maybe it was because I have been riding a bike 6 miles most days, or that I did a DVD tape and one of the exercises I did....i did not think was good for the back...and then I have a housecleaning business. So i did not know what happened to my back...all I knew is that it was worse today than the other two days. When I called my sister and told her she told me to go see a chiropractor...she has been seeing them for years and she swears by them. She goes to The Joint in the state that she lives in and told me to see if there was one here in Corpus. I did and I saw Dr. Dan today. He was pretty thorough with me and took his time to talk to me. He had me do test exercises...he told me my hips were twisted...and then he did a spine treatment and adjustment, also did my neck and hips. I definitely felt better after the treatment and will be going back to keep adjusted. The $29.00 initial visit fee was very reasonable and I am on the Wellness Plan of $69.00 a month. All I know is I am out of pain now and there is just soreness....thank God for my sister and The Joint!

Excellent care for sacroiliac problem I've had for many years, this is the main reason I first came. I avoided an MRI and so much else another chiropractor in Corpus was trying to talk me into, which would have cost me thousands. I Couldn't walk in, but walked out. It the best in care one could have. My husband had lower back pain and he had cancer at the time, the gentle spine adjustments were so helpful and not intrusive, great care was given because of his cancer and the pain relief was a blessing. I would recommend this place to my nearest and dearest for professional compassionate care.

Very nice place, super clean, great customer service, super convenient, great care with chiropractor and even sent me an email of different chiropractor videos of back (spine stretches). He read my MRI results. He showed me a spine and what mine was doing. All I can say so far after one visit is GREAT CARE!

The chiropractic doctors at The Joint are both awesome. Very professional, excellent skills, and great "bedside" manner. Minimal or no wait time and the cost is very reasonable. The Joint offers only chiropractic adjustments so there is no pressure to pay for other un-wanted services -- physical therapy, heat/cold treatments,etc. Highly recommend!

I had been here a few times to help with migraines and it was wonderful. Now months later I was nervous about getting adjusted while pregnant. I always heard good things about it so finally decided to go in. I'll be forever thankful. I thought being pregnant meant having to feel sore and uncomfortable but one session with Dr. Nurse and I can lay down and sit correct again! He was so reassuring and patient with me. I miss Dr. Russell but feel so glad to now have met Dr. Nurse. Logan up front is also awesome, always very nice and helpful. Recommend this place to everyone!

I always thought a Chiropractor was a quick and temporary fix, but I was wrong. I have had problems with my neck and shoulder for over 8 months. I gave them a copy of my MRI report and they worked along those guidelines. After a few weeks of a single injection by my doctor combined with chiropractic care from The Joint.........I am now pain free. Thank you!
Oh and by the way ......... my husband doesn't complain about his neck and back hurting every single day like he used to for the past 15 years either. (By the way... they don't do attitude adjustments, my husband already asked lol)

Went for the first time today. I had a great experience! Everything was explained in detail, I was adjusted, did some neck stretches and was on my way. I like the plans that are offered for return visits. In my line of work, this is a necessity. I highly recommend this facility. They are also open 7 days a week, no appointment needed!

Everything is a really low-key and comfortable here. Everybody is always smiling and happy. They only have two chiropractors so it's easy to get that comfortable feeling like you belong there because they recognize you every time you come in. Lady at the front desk is super sweet (and even plays along with my husbands jokes lol)

I'm not usually a reviewer. I've had chronic shoulder problems for years, muscle knots that wouldn't go away.his accessment was my spine was out of alignment and pinching nerves causing my muscles to stay contracted. After a few therapy sessions he aliveated my pain by 70%
