Dr. Tilghman grew up in Bedford, Texas and graduated from Trinity High School and attended Stephen F. Austin State University. He was first introduced to chiropractic due to a shoulder injury as a gymnast and baseball player in high school which led to his interest in helping as many people as possible to obtain and maintain an optimum level of health and well-being by balancing the human body and normalize bodily function.
Dr. Tilghman received his Doctorate and Bachelors degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas in 2001. He has been in practice in Texas and Pennsylvania treating high school, college, and professional athletes as well as thousands of families from as young as 2 days old to 98 years old. In 2013, Dr. Tilghman decided to return home where it all started, the DFW Metroplex.
Through non-rotational, hands on conservative manual chiropractic treatment, Dr. Tilghman has successfully treated thousands of patients, many who have been diagnosed with all types of sports injuries, arthritis, low back pain, headaches, chronic pain, carpel tunnel, allergies, acute injuries, neck pain and TMJ (jaw problems).
Dr. Tilghman is very personable with his patients about the philosophy of chiropractic and it’s all natural approach to allowing the body to heal itself by removing nerve interference caused by spinal trauma, stress, posture, joint dysfunction, and sports injuries. He is living his vision to educate the public about the science and miracles of regular chiropractic care.
Dr. Fernandez grew up in the small Central Texas town of Clifton. He graduated from Clifton High School with a large class of 45 students. He completed his undergraduate studies at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. Dr. Fernandez received his Doctorate degree from the world-renowned Parker College of Chiropractic in 2002. He has practiced in a multi-disciplinary clinic for the last 16 years and was a co-owner of his own Chiropractic facility.
Dr. Fernandez brings 17 years of experience to the Joint. During his career he has helped many patients with a variety of ailments. He has treated patients from two days old to as young as 95. He specializes in low back pain and headaches; however, he has successfully helped with sports injuries, knee pains, sinus issues, shoulder pains, migraines, menstrual pains and many other conditions.
Dr. Fernandez has a firm but gentle approach to Chiropractic. He believes in removing interference in the nervous system through a specific Chiropractic adjustment and letting the body heal itself. He truly believes in the quote by B.J. Palmer, “The power that made the body heals the body”.
Dr. Fernandez lives in Fort Worth and has 4 beautiful children. He enjoys playing golf badly and loves to go fishing. He enjoys rooting for his Texas Longhorns and the San Francisco 49ers.
