Meet The Doctors
Dr. Andrew Kim became part of The Joint Chiropractic’s team of local healthcare providers in 2022 when he began serving residents in the Houston area, where he continues doing the work he finds so rewarding.
“The best things about being in the chiropractic field are the immediate relief and happiness I see patients experience, along with seeing them routinely and them telling me how it’s making a difference in their lives,” he says. “These are both equally satisfying to me.”
Dr. Andrew Kim was born and raised in Houston for most of his life, though he also lived for a while in Dallas and Toronto. “Moving around has given me exposure to so many different backgrounds and cultures, along with seeing so many diverse groups of people receiving benefits from chiropractic care.”
In his spare time, Dr. Andrew Kim enjoys the martial arts, particularly Brazilian jiu jitsu; he also likes traveling and spending time with family and friends.
He received his doctorate from Texas Chiropractic College after attending York University in Toronto, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
He knew chiropractic was the right field for him when he saw so many athletes, including himself, perform noticeably better after an adjustment.
In Case You Didn’t Know
Dr. Andrew Kim enjoys new experiences, but one that stands out for him was receiving his first black belt in a martial art, along with graduating with his doctorate: “It showed me I can achieve a lot through perseverance and hard work.”
If he could spend time with anyone from history, the doctor would love to sit down with Jesus and his disciples.
