But the devil is in the details, and it might be harder to stick with big changes than it is to stick with small changes for better health. Drink Before a Meal

Sometime in the 30 minutes before you eat, you should drink two glasses of water. This small step can help you in a couple of ways. First, it will help you stay hydrated throughout the day, helping to regulate your body functions. Second, it can help prevent you from overeating when you sit down to eat.

Start Your Day with Protein

An egg is a nearly perfect food, and it doesn’t take too long to fix one, either. They are a source of high-quality protein and they’re loaded with important vitamins and minerals your body needs to function optimally. Take a minute out of your morning to scramble one up and gobble it down. You can put it on a slice of whole grain toast with a little avocado to give it some staying power throughout your morning.

Stretch

If you can take just one minute every morning to do a couple of stretches, then it can make a big difference in how you feel. It can help to ease any stiffness you feel in the morning in your muscles and joints, as well get your blood pumping to start your day off right. If you can commit to give stretching one minute several times a day, then you can improve your posture, balance, and range of motion.
