Meet The Doctors
Dr. Larry D. Jones was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and grew up in El Paso, Texas. Upon graduating high school, he accepted a scholarship to play basketball for Abilene Christian University. Thereafter, he completed the necessary undergraduate work and was accepted for graduate studies at the prestigious Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas. Here he graduated and obtained his doctorate degree of chiropractic in December 1988 with Cum Laude honors.
Dr. Jones owned and operated his own private practice in El Paso, Texas for 34 years as a sole practitioner. He was part of a team of chiropractors that started on-site care and evaluation of rodeo participants in the pro rodeo circuit. Dr. Jones was the team Chiropractor for the San Diego Padres AAA affiliate, the El Paso Chihuahuas, and was also a team doctor for the El Paso men’s and women’s golf team at the University of Texas at El Paso.
Dr. Jones is proficient and skilled in several adjusting techniques, i.e. Diversified, activator and drop technique and with his 35 years of experience is adept at diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Jones is a fun-loving, patient-first, understanding doctor that enjoys travelling, playing, watching and talking about sports, and discussing the many pleasures of West Texas. As the clinic director of The Joint Chiropractic at Castle Hills, he is committed to going above and beyond to find the correct treatments necessary for each individual patient so that they too can enjoy an improvement in their life through routine and affordable chiropractic care.
