Dr. Angeleen Robinson joined the Pearland Parkway location in 2018 but joined The Joint Chiropractic family in 2012 after receiving her doctorate from Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena. She had previously earned her bachelor of science in biology/pre-med at Texas Southern.
“The thing I love about being in the chiropractic field is helping patients feel better, and also educating them on the benefits of chiropractic care,” Dr. Robinson says.
A product of Florida -- she was born in Daytona Beach and raised in Ormond Beach -- Dr. Robinson enjoys spending her spare time working out, listening to music, reading, and watching her “two awesome sons,” Champ and Chief, play sports. Her husband, high school sweetheart Brian, coaches football and girls basketball at Manvel High.
“I always knew I wanted to be a healthcare professional since I was a young child,” Dr. Robinson says. “I didn’t have a personal experience with chiropractic care, but after doing research on the profession and visiting the Texas Chiropractic College campus, I knew that a field which involved helping individuals attain healthy lifestyles in a conservative manner and promoting health and wellness through preventative care was my calling.”
It proved to be a good move, especially landing at the Pearland Parkway clinic. ‘What I like best about working at The Joint Pearland Parkway is being able to work in a positive work environment with co-workers who have become like family,” she says.

Dr. Robinson says the one edible she must always keep handy comes from the produce aisle. “Fruit is the one thing in my fridge that I must have,” she says. “It’s a healthy alternative to satisfying my sweet tooth.”
She counts family as the most interesting experience in her life.
“The coolest thing I’ve ever done was give birth to my sons,” Dr. Robinson says. “Having the ability to bring another life into the world is, in my opinion, one of the most awesome things ever.”
Dr. Alesha Paul joined the family of The Joint Chiropractic of healthcare providers in 2014, and began working as the local chiropractor for Pearland Parkway in 2016. She received her doctorate of chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College, but did her undergraduate work at Louisiana State University and Life University, where she studied kinesiology, biology and was pre-med for gynecology.
“The thing I love most about being in the chiropractic field is helping patients improve their quality of life and accomplishing goals,” she says. “I also love working in the field because of the great athletes I get to meet, take care of their goals, and bounce workout tips with each other.”
Raised in Georgia, Dr. Paul worked previously in Clearlake, League City and Friendswood. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and traveling, but also working out and competing in bodybuilding competitions.
Dr. Paul got involved in chiropractic care because a first-hand experience. “I was involved in an accident with an 18-wheeler and saw a female chiropractor,” she says. “She inspired me to help others as she helped me.”

Dr. Paul says the one thing she always has stocked in her freezer is the low-calorie Halo ice cream. And why does she keep it on hand? “Because it’s delicious high protein ice cream,” she says.
Although Dr. Paul admits she’s not big on small talk, she would love to pick the brains of bodybuilding champion Cory Everson, musician Kenny G, athletes Mary Lou Retton and Andre Agassi, and scientist Albert Einstein. “These are all people that I admired in my childhood,” she says.
Although she is a Georgia girl in Texas, Dr. Paul has lived in paradise and says it was pretty cool: “It was an awesome opportunity to take a break from adulting and live in Hawaii for six months.”
Dr. Indira Bayne grew up in the Caribbean and Canada. She graduated from The University of Houston in 2005 and later graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 2014 with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Bayne says the best part about being in the chiropractic field is that “You can go anywhere in the world and help someone with just your hands and the knowledge you’ve obtained through practicing chiropractic care.” She also says, “The body is a vessel for healing, give it what it needs, take care of it and trust the process.” Dr. Bayne began working at The Joint Chiropractic in December 2021.
When Dr. Bayne is not working she enjoys gardening, traveling, and outdoor activities with her family. Four “famous” people, living or dead, who would comprise her perfect dinner party would be Russel Peters, Michelle Obama, Brad Lancaster, and Hippocrates. Dr. Bayne says the coolest thing she’s ever done was climb Kaieteur Falls in Guyana. She says, “being in the Amazon was humbling, scary, exciting, and the jaw-dropping beauty of looking down from the top is difficult to describe in words. A must for anybody’s bucket list.”
Dr. Ugo Agbilibeazu became part of The Joint Chiropractic’s team of local healthcare providers in 2022 when he began serving residents in suburban Houston, where he continues doing the work he finds so gratifying in Pearland.
“I love serving and helping my community,” he says. “Chiropractic is one of the ways I use to contribute back into my community by helping my patients feel their best and restoring them back to optimal functionality for themselves and their families.”
A native of Africa, he got a bachelor’s degree from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, then earned his doctorate from Texas Chiropractic College.
“Growing up in the western part of Africa, experiencing a natural way of healing and traditional medicine at some point at that early stage of life groomed me to believe so much in using chiropractic to help the body locate its innate ability to heal itself,” he says.
Dr. Ugo, as his patients call him, knew chiropractic was his calling when his wife was pregnant with their first child. “She was referred to a chiropractor by her midwife, and seeing how she improved after a couple of sessions was eye-opening,” he says.
Among his most memorable patients, Dr. Ugo remembers putting a smile on the face of a patient with severe sciatic nerve irritation. “She had to take a year off from her teaching job because it was so bad,” he says. “After treating her, she went back to work earlier than expected and also spent time with her family without being in pain.”
Dr. Ugo enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing soccer, and skating.

The person with whom Dr. Ugo would most like to have a one-on-one conversation is Michael Jackson. "Because he is supposed to be Greatest performer that ever lived,” he says.
Dr. Ugo says he "loves snacking on different types of nuts and seeds." He keeps them stocked in his pantry.
Dr. Ugo is a strong believer in giving back. “Volunteering at orphanages or the domestic abuse center helps me uphold my attitude of gratitude,” he says.
