Dr. Angeleen Robinson joined the Pearland Parkway location in 2018 but joined The Joint Chiropractic family in 2012 after receiving her doctorate from Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena. She had previously earned her bachelor of science in biology/pre-med at Texas Southern.
“The thing I love about being in the chiropractic field is helping patients feel better, and also educating them on the benefits of chiropractic care,” Dr. Robinson says.
A product of Florida -- she was born in Daytona Beach and raised in Ormond Beach -- Dr. Robinson enjoys spending her spare time working out, listening to music, reading, and watching her “two awesome sons,” Champ and Chief, play sports. Her husband, high school sweetheart Brian, coaches football and girls basketball at Manvel High.
“I always knew I wanted to be a healthcare professional since I was a young child,” Dr. Robinson says. “I didn’t have a personal experience with chiropractic care, but after doing research on the profession and visiting the Texas Chiropractic College campus, I knew that a field which involved helping individuals attain healthy lifestyles in a conservative manner and promoting health and wellness through preventative care was my calling.”
It proved to be a good move, especially landing at the Pearland Parkway clinic. ‘What I like best about working at The Joint Pearland Parkway is being able to work in a positive work environment with co-workers who have become like family,” she says.

Dr. Robinson says the one edible she must always keep handy comes from the produce aisle. “Fruit is the one thing in my fridge that I must have,” she says. “It’s a healthy alternative to satisfying my sweet tooth.”
She counts family as the most interesting experience in her life.
“The coolest thing I’ve ever done was give birth to my sons,” Dr. Robinson says. “Having the ability to bring another life into the world is, in my opinion, one of the most awesome things ever.”
Dr. Alesha Paul joined the family of The Joint Chiropractic of healthcare providers in 2014, and began working as the local chiropractor for Pearland Parkway in 2016. She received her doctorate of chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College, but did her undergraduate work at Louisiana State University and Life University, where she studied kinesiology, biology and was pre-med for gynecology.
“The thing I love most about being in the chiropractic field is helping patients improve their quality of life and accomplishing goals,” she says. “I also love working in the field because of the great athletes I get to meet, take care of their goals, and bounce workout tips with each other.”
Raised in Georgia, Dr. Paul worked previously in Clearlake, League City and Friendswood. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and traveling, but also working out and competing in bodybuilding competitions.
Dr. Paul got involved in chiropractic care because a first-hand experience. “I was involved in an accident with an 18-wheeler and saw a female chiropractor,” she says. “She inspired me to help others as she helped me.”

Dr. Paul says the one thing she always has stocked in her freezer is the low-calorie Halo ice cream. And why does she keep it on hand? “Because it’s delicious high protein ice cream,” she says.
Although Dr. Paul admits she’s not big on small talk, she would love to pick the brains of bodybuilding champion Cory Everson, musician Kenny G, athletes Mary Lou Retton and Andre Agassi, and scientist Albert Einstein. “These are all people that I admired in my childhood,” she says.
Although she is a Georgia girl in Texas, Dr. Paul has lived in paradise and says it was pretty cool: “It was an awesome opportunity to take a break from adulting and live in Hawaii for six months.”
