Meet The Doctors
A Colorado native, Dr. Paul Frisk holds a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Anatomy degree from Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas; a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Colorado in Pueblo, Colorado, and an Associate of Applied Science from Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colorado. Dr. Frisk is a highly regarded Chiropractor with more than 25 years of experience. Prior to joining the path to Wellness Chiropractic in September 2019, Dr. Frisk practiced in San Antonio. In addition to his established patients, he treated members of the San Antonio Spurs and other elite athletes including the two Mr. Olympia competitors, one of whom won the competition, a World's Strongest Woman participant and winner, and San Antonio Symphony musicians. Dr. Frisk takes a holistic approach in his practices, employing a wide range of techniques for injury prevention and rehabilitation for pediatric to geriatric patients.
Dr. Frisk has extensive experience with sports, sports injuries, and the challenges of being a competitive athlete. He is a competitive bodybuilder and has participated in over 25 competitions since 1988. He has won first place more than five times in the PC Texas State Championships in the Open/Masters category and placed in the NPC Texas State Championships top three nine times. He competed in the 2004 Powerlifting Championships in Austin. In 2006, Dr. Frisk won the Cajun Championship in Louisiana and qualified for and competed in the NPC National Competition in Chicago. Still a competitive athlete, he is an avid bodybuilder, runner, and tennis player. He also plays piano and keyboard and has played at several upscale hotels in San Antonio, nursing homes, health facilities during the holidays, and for weddings including his own. He treasures a special loving bond with his teenage daughter, playing tennis, traveling, and talking about life.
Dr. Cassie joined The Joint Chiropractic in June of 2021. She attended Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa and graduated in October of 2017 with her bachelor's degree in science and Doctorate of Chiropractic. Her favorite thing about being a chiropractor is getting to meet so many new people and treating them naturally! Before moving to Texas, Dr. Cassie practiced in Bothell, Washington and Maquoketa, Iowa. In her spare time, she enjoys doing anything outdoors, hanging with friends, or just relaxing at home with her two dogs, Rocky and Bear. One of her favorite hobbies is watching football. She is a big fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, and The Texans! She knew chiropractic was for her when she witnessed firsthand how amazing it really is and how much it can truly help people, including herself. She used to suffer with horrible debilitating migraines, but with routine chiropractic care, it has only been on rare occasions. One thing she must have in her fridge, is Big Red! Ever since moving down to Texas, she has been hooked on the delicious red drink. Growing up in eastern Iowa, she never thought she would move across the country, but she is so glad that she did. She enjoys working with her Joint Chiropractic team and experiencing new places and things here in Texas!
