Why Are You So Tired?

You may wake up in the morning feeling great and ready to tackle the day but then midway through your morning your battery is starting to run dry. Why? If you sleepwalk through most of your day and need that fourth or fifth cup of coffee just to make it through, then it’s time to start examining why you may be so tired all the time. It may not just be as simple as the amount of sleep you get each night. Here are a few things that may make you feel drained.
You Don’t Exercise Enough
As strange as it may sound, not getting enough exercise can be one of the reasons you are so tired all the time. Part of the problem with your exercise level and fatigue is that feeling tired makes you not want to exercise while not exercising makes you even more tired. It’s a vicious cycle you need to break!
If you can fit in a quick workout every day, then you may start to notice your energy level improve. Shoot for 20 minutes of exercise per day, such as a brisk walk, and see how your energy soars!
You Exercise Too Much
The flip side of exercise and fatigue – pushing too far! If you do get regular exercise but notice that you’re tired all the time, then you may need to consider that you’re exercising too much and pushing your body too far. There’s a fine line between training to reach your fitness goals and overtraining. When the line is crossed, then you start to notice problems such as injury and fatigue as your body tries to protect itself. Make sure you’re building rest days into your workout routine in order to give your body the rest it needs.
You Don’t Sleep as Well as You Think
You may wake up feeling like you’re ready to conquer the day but that doesn’t mean your sleep was as restful as it should have been. Even a very mild case of sleep apnea can prevent you from getting the sleep your body needs to rejuvenate, recover, and rest. The inability to maintain your energy levels throughout the day is a sign that your sleep may not be what you think.Make sure you have this issue checked out by a medical professional!
