Meet The Doctors

Dr. Robert Hanacik, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Waukesha

Dr. Robert Hanacik has been helping patients integrate chiropractic care into their health and wellness plan since 1984. Over nearly 40 years he has treated thousands of patients. His passion is helping others feel their very best! As Director of Growth and Development, Dr. Hanacik works to educate patients on how chiropractic care can offer relief from everyday aches and pains and lead active lifestyles. When he is not working in our clinics, he enjoys playing golf and visiting his daughter and family in California.

Dr. Greg Ott, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Waukesha

Dr. Ott has been providing chiropractic to SE Wisconsin since 1994. He did his undergraduate studies at UWWhitewater and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.

Continuing education is very important to Dr. Ott. His focus has been acute musculoskeletal conditions such injuries sustained at work, sports or in a motor vehicle accident. He primarily utilizes well known chiropractic techniques from Gonstead, Thompson and Activator Methods.

He grew up in the Sussex/Menomonee Falls area and wanted to come back to the area to live and practice. He now lives in Merton with his son and daughter. When he is not doing activities with his children, he can be found golfing, fishing, biking or somewhere outdoors.

Dr. Katie Cole joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2019 when she became one of the local healthcare providers at the Brookfield clinic location. She earned a major in health sciences and a minor in psychology at Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., before going on to get a doctorate of chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Ill.

Dr. Cole could not be happier serving her patients. “The thing I like best about being in this field is using chiropractic care to help people restore their health,” she says. “The other thing I love is working with people of all ages, from newborns to those in their 90s!”

She has worked throughout the Milwaukee area as well as private practice in Des Plaines, Ill.

When she’s not working or spending time with her husband, son and daughter -- or looking after dog Hazel and fish Buddy -- Dr. Cole enjoys cooking and baking, reading, running, and triathlons.

First-hand experience led Dr. Cole down the chiropractic path and confirmed her calling.

“I was in undergrad deciding what to pursue after graduation,” she says. “I had no idea what chiropractic was until I job shadowed a chiropractor in my hometown. I was also getting treated by her and noticed a significant decrease in my headaches and allergies. It was then I knew how chiropractic can truly improve someone’s health.”

She is grateful to be working in Brookfield: “The people I work with are amazing. The doctors and staff that I have worked alongside are extremely skilled.”

In Case You Didn’t Know

Dr. Cole says the one thing she always has stocked in her refrigerator is coffee creamer: “I love drinking my one or two cups a day with a tasteful almond milk creamer.”

If she could bring together any four people from history, she would include Jesus and mother Mary, Elizabeth Hamilton, and a particular Packers quarterback.

“Jesus because he is the son of God, and both human and God himself, and Mary because I would like to know what it was like raising Jesus and the love and pain she had for him in his last days on earth,” Dr. Cole says. “Elizabeth Hamilton’s husband, Alexander Hamilton, takes a lot of the spotlight, but she has done some amazing things in her lifetime and I would love to hear about it. And I would invite Aaron Rogers because, well, he’s Aaron Rogers.”

One of the things she is most proud of is that she has run the Chicago marathon. “I do not consider myself a runner, nor could I even run one mile before I began training,” Dr. Cole says. “But I pushed my self-doubts aside, and pushed my body more than I have done in the past. It was amazing having the one million spectators cheering me on. Crossing the finish line was an unreal feeling.”

Dr. Brittany J. Wolfmeyer, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Waukesha

Dr. Wolfmeyer has been providing chiropractic to SE Wisconsin since 2015. She did her undergraduate studies at UW-Milwaukee, double majoring in Biology and Psychology. From there she went on to persue her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, TX. While attending chiropractic college, she engaged in clinical rotations at the Bridge Over Troubled Waters, introducing chiropractic care to individuals seeking shelter from domestic and sexual violence, Rice University, allowing her to partake in the rehabilitation of the athletes to their peak performance, and at the University of Houston-Clear Lake Health Center. This enabled her to gain experience treating a variety of conditions.

Dr. Wolfmeyer is passionate about the importance of chiropractic care for the whole family. She is certified in Pediatrics and Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Association. Besides family wellness, her focus has been on acute musculoskeletal conditions including work and sports injuries. She primarily utilizes well-known chiropractic techniques from Diversified, Thompson and Activator Methods.

She grew up in the Glendale, WI and wanted to come back to the area to live and practice. Family is very important to her. She has six children of her own who manage to keep her on her toes when she's not in the clinic. Her weekends are typically jam-packed with various spontaneous family adventures. She is always planning the next family outing.
