Meet The Doctors
Dr. Jasbir Kocher was born and raised in Burr Ridge, IL. Dr. Kocher earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a Certification in Acupuncture from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL in 2012.
Dr. Kocher has a genuine excitement and passion for helping others. At the age of 17, he began work as a Pharmacy Technician in his local community.
Following a car accident in 2002, Dr. Kocher began suffering from headaches, neck pain, back pain, muscle tension, and balance issues. It was then when he discovered chiropractic care. After his life-changing experience as a patient, he learned that there was an alternative approach to helping people. At this moment, Dr. Kocher decided to change his field of study from pharmacy to chiropractic.
Dr. Kocher has had the opportunity of serving numerous patients with almost ten years of experience, who have never seen a chiropractor before. He strongly believes in a comfortable, compassionate, and results-driven experience for every patient he encounters. Dr. Kocher has also helped infants less than one-year-old to adults well into their 90's.
He has experience in helping patients with neck pain, headaches, migraines, poor posture, low back pain, scoliosis, sinus issues, spinal fusions, disc injuries, sciatica, and extremity pain, to name a few. Dr. Kocher also attended many hours of post-graduate education in Activator Technique, Acupuncture, Clinical Nutrition, Graston Technique, McKenzie Protocol, Physical Rehabilitation, and Spinal Decompression.
Of all his accomplishments, Dr. Kocher is most proud of being a father. When he is not working at The Joint Chiropractic, he enjoys quality time with his family, participating in physical fitness activities, watching sports, and growing in Faith.
Dr. Janet has become a part of The Joint Chiropractic team here in Clarkston, MI, starting in December of 2024. After closing a private practice, which was a hard decision to make. She greatly enjoys working with the Joint to bring more relief and pain free days to the chiropractic community.
Dr. Janet started her Chiropractic career in high school working for a Chiropractor in Plymouth, MI as a Chiropractic Assistant. Headaches and TMJ pain is what brought her to start getting adjusted. With her headaches nearly gone, she saw the amazing benefits and results that Chiropractic had on people. That's when she decided she wanted to be a part of it.
Dr. Janet attended Life University in Georgia, where she got her Doctorate in Chiropractic. She moved back to Michigan after graduation and has practiced in both Plymouth & Canton. She eventually bought one of the private practices she worked at.
She is completely devoted to her patients and their health. She is a great listener who takes the time to personalize care for her patients. With a big heart she does what she can to improve their health. She works with all ages, having seen patients one day old (adjusting both of her kids the day they were born!), up to age 85 years old! Dr. Janet definitely has a soft spot (and the patience) for the little ones!
She currently resides in Livonia with her 2 children, fiance Tim, and dog named Hazel. She has been her daughter's girl scout leader for 3 years now. Enjoys watching her son play soccer and baseball, as well as her daughter’s cheer competitions. Dr. Janet loves to visit family in her spare time. She also enjoys traveling, organizing, projects around the house, reading, movies and nothing tops quality time with her children!!!
