Dr. Robert Goudy, D.C.
Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport Campus

Dr. Goudy was born and raised in Wheeling, WV. He acquired a BA degree in secondary education and spent five years performing child protection duties for the state of West Virginia. Having been an athlete all his life with an interest in health and nutrition, he pursued a career in chiropractic. He graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1984.
After visiting North Carolina several times while in school, Dr. Goudy developed a strong desire to practice in NC. He has been providing services to the Triad region at his chiropractic center in High Point for thirty years. He is also certified in acupuncture and treating sports injuries. Dr. Goudy has treated numerous professional athletes and performers including NFL players, golfers, actors, musicians, and a number of professional kick boxers. He has studied martial arts for many years, and when he is not treating patients he enjoys golf, running, working out, music, and community gatherings.
Dr. Goudy has chosen to become part of The Joint Chiropractic Brier Creek clinic because he sincerely believes in the wellness philosophy and the model which enables patients to achieve a chiropractic lifestyle to live a fuller, healthier and pain-free life. Dr. Workman is a 2003 Graduate of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic. He holds a B.A. from Luther College in Heatlh Management. His experience in neuromuscular conditions and soft-tissue injuries has allowed him to serve as Chiropractor for Campbell University Athletics (2004-2006), various running groups (TNT & Galloway), and TRImyCoach Triathletes.
Dr. Workman has dedicated himself to improving the overall health and wellness of his patients through chiropractic care using his skills as a former massage therapist, Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Specialist, Strength & Conditioning Coach and personal trainer to diversify his wellness and rehabilitation programs to obtain the most success for his patient’s injuries and concerns.
Dr. Workman is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner that uses manual and low-force adjusting techniques, trigger point therapy, physical therapy modalities, stability strengthening and resistive exercises along with his experience in GRASTON TECHNIQUE and FAKTR-PM which allows him to detect and treat adhesions and restrictive scar tissue.
