Your first visit may take up to 45 minutes to an hour, which gives you time to complete initial paperwork while the doctor evaluates your needs and begins care based on your condition, goals, and treatment plan. After that, follow-up visits are usually just five to 10 minutes. Because our doctors focus on the specific adjustments your body needs at each visit, care can be streamlined without losing its effectiveness. To allow enough time for a thorough new patient experience, new patients should plan to arrive more than one hour before lunch hours or closing.

Your first visit includes a consultation, exam, clinical assessment, and adjustment with a licensed doctor of chiropractic. The doctors here are amazing, today it was Dr. Steve. He has a great touch and applies the perfect amount of pressure without hurting you. They actually listen to you and ask questions, and I never feel intimidated about asking questions. What I love most of all is that this location gives you a full-body rundown. The manager was excellent. Very friendly and helpful to me and my husband. She’s exceptional at her job. She absolutely deserves a raise. You could tell that she thoroughly enjoys her job, the way she interacts with the customers and coworkers. The doctor was also very friendly & thorough in his examination. The questions he asked, how he explained different things, everything. He made sure that we understood every aspect of what he was doing and saying to us. We’re happy & feeling great! I had a good visit with the joint chiropractic and I enjoyed learning about how water helps keep inflammation down along with joint pain and stiffness also how one leg was longer than the other by 1 1/2 inches and getting my hips realigned I really wanted my hip popped but she couldn't because it's a aggressive procedure and the chiropractor was expecting which I totally understand..other than that 4 stars

Dr. Musso is so talented and educated: I could completely trust him, which can usually be challenging! He had the perfect methods and techniques for getting me not to brace, but to just go with the flow ? Came in with a herniated disc. I was in so much pain. Was refered out to a specialist for decompression and man I can already walk. I am grateful that they were able to point me in the right direction. Will continue to get adjusted from this clinic when authorized to do as such.

Watch out for The Joint! When you’re in pain and your med professionals in your family suggest you go see a Chiropractor immediately, go see an independent Chiropractor. The joint wasn’t there for me. Chapel Hill was closed when store hours said they were open..lights on and waited in pain for 30 minutes. Call Durham, got an appointment, saw the Chiropractor and thought I was on the way to getting rid of my pain. Told me to go to Briar Creek tomorrow as they are open on Sunday. Drive an hour, looking forward to easing my pain with treatment. Only to be told the Chiropractor I first saw didn’t enter my patient info. Can’t see me today. Well thanks for nothing and membership canceled. Off to a REAL chiropractic professional in my home town.

Started out amazing. No complaints. Doctors are friendly. Was moving and I canceled my subscription. Also was told I could use my last remaining two sessions. I came in on Sunday to use them. They told me they were too busy with new patience to come back the following day. Now they're telling me my last two sessions are unusable. If you want to scam me out of two sessions that's your business but you'll lose my business ?

Took advantage of the $29 new patient special and had a great initial adjustment with the doctor. The receptionis Sue was great as well and answered all of my questions. The only thing that would have made the visit better was if I had the option to fill out the initial forms online before the visit but I was so happy with the adjustment that I signed up for their 4 visit per month maintenance plan for $79. I look forward to my next visit.

The adjustments were fine but the wait is ridiculous, I’ve waited and had to leave, I’ve waited and had people who signed in after me get called back first. They don’t take appointments and the front desk is completely ineffective. UPDATE: after only 3 horrible visits the chiro put me in so much pain I couldn't breathe, they had to help me off the table (I'm a healthy, active, 41 year old). I couldn't move my arm, turn my head, and the "adjustment" made part of my back hurt so badly that I literally couldn't breathe. Instead of managing their "patients" with appropriate care their goal is to sell memberships, not giving sound medical advice. The company/franchise itself feeds off of individuals trust, the belief that doctors will "do no harm" and views patients as consumers. THIS IS NOT WHAT SOMEONE WANTS OR NEEDS FROM A HEALTHCARE PROVIDER. They take zero responsibility in their adjustments and aside from emailing some stretches, (all well known, easily Google-able) only took my money and left me in significantly more pain than I had been in before, in areas that had never hurt or bothered me before. If you're looking for the fast food version of chiropractors- go for it, if you're looking for a competent provider, STAY AWAY!!!

I recently went to Joint Chiropractic and was treated by Dr. Simms. I was having difficulty with issues in my right leg and my entire body felt twisted. Dr. Simms did my adjustment and took time to explain what she was doing. After my adjustment I immediately felt relief. My body was flexible and I was completely pain-free! I could walk and sit with ease and even felt taller! Dr. Simms was cordial and professional. She listened, was very knowledgeable, kind and I could tell that she truly loves her profession. Great for a quick fix. I only wish they spent more than like 4 mins to work on you. Seems a bit rushed, impersonal and makes you feel like you’re on an assembly line rather than a patient who needs some individual attention. Everyone is very professional, just feel like a number and not a patient….. UPDATE: They've heard the feedback and have coached the doctors to be a bit less rushed, more personal and take an interest in their clients' well-being. I don't need to carry on a 20 min conversation, but it's nice to have a little more focus on the patient experience and change up a bit the relief techniques used now and then. Thx for listening!

My fiancé just got off the phone with this company. Due to unforeseen circumstances he had to cancel his membership. He did opted out through text 2-3 times including the membership fee. Well looking at our bank statement they pulled out his membership without being there in two months. The only way you can cancel is through having to go in and sign a cancellation form apparently which is news to us as the texts never told us this. Also they will not be refunding us for this month even though we were never told about the cancellation policy to go in until today to sign some stupid form. Not through text or previous calls. This is ridiculous and unprofessional. Will never be going back or recommending to anyone. Please beware of this practice.

I visited The Joint Chiropractic with a sore neck. I really liked the feel of the place, the receptionist was lovely and kind, the entry paperwork was not bad (a lot of small print ?), my initial check over was fast and professional and the practitioner had a great bedside manner. The treatment was hard for me but I was reassured and supported and given follow up instructions and the next morning I felt so much better. The payment packages are a lot to take in after a treatment while in pain but you can take it away to work out what you need. Highly recommend!

I travel often for work and found this location after getting my rental at the airport and checking maps to see if a location was nearby. I went straight there and it’s in a plaza with many options for shopping and food if you’re not familiar to Raleigh. This location was less than 10mins from the airport! This was my first experience at this location but it was worth it. (My location is in Texas.) Receptionist was friendly and got me checked in immediately. I went to the back and doc explained, in detail, every adjustment he made. It’s good for me to know to since I have chronic lower back pain and want to monitor progress. Thanks for a swift experience coupled with takeaway knowledge. See you on the next visit!

This is the first time I’ve been to this location. My experience was great. Todd did a thorough exam before doing my adjustment and even took my blood pressure. Front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. Chiropractors are efficient. The only down side is the turn over. Some clinics have more than others and each Dr has their own style. Overall I’m very happy with my experience as The Joint, I’ve been going for 3 years now. Being able to go when out of town with a location near is awesome too!

I visited The Joint after seeing an Instagram ad for a $29 new patient special. I’ve never had a chiropractic adjustment before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but have been curious about the benefits for a while. Also, given my half marathon training and the strain that must be putting on my body, I figured I should check this out as yet another modality of recovery and maintenance. Samantha was so pleasant, warm, and welcoming, and guided me through the intake process. Dr. Nick was fantastic. He explained everything in really great detail so that I knew exactly what to expect as the adjustment began. He even let me know what sounds I was likely to hear and reassured me when I was a little nervous about addressing the tightness in my neck. I’m not sure that I’m ready to do weekly adjustments as recommended, but I can definitely see myself coming back at least once a month. Folks seemed to be coming in and out with quickness and ease, so I love that about this place. I’ll be back.

They care more about signing you up for monthly subscriptions then anything else. On your first visit be prepared to have to spend a half hour listening to why you need to come twice a week for months and try to sell you on their monthly subscription packages. I signed up for a month's worth of visits not realizing it was a recurring charge. When I emailed them asking to have my subscription cancelled they told me I had to come to the office and fill out a form. But since I was out of state for a while I couldn't go to the office. So beware that they will make it extremely hard to cancel a membership once you start.

The doctor was great! I felt better right away. I had a migraine for 3 days, and I woke up today feeling great. Long time joint client, really unsatisfied with today’s visit. The check in process took longer than my actual adjustment. I waited patiently for the male manning the check in to finish with the person in front of me. He then just in an unwelcoming manner. Granted this was close to closing time but as someone that works with the public your last customers are just as important as your first customers. The doctor that I saw rushed through my adjustment, demonstrating his lack of caring or professionalism, I have had enough adjustments at the Joint to know what they are suppose to be like, this was my quickest adjustment ever. I will not go to this location again. If I see this doctor at another I will not have an adjustment or continue my plan.

On July 15th I took my friend to this location. I’ve been a long time client of the joint at their wake forest location. Prior to getting on an airplane my friend had injured herself and was in severe pain. We came to this location at 5:40 pm because it was the closest to the airport. The receptionists were kind and said they would schedule my friend for a new client exam. At 6:40, an hour and three patients later, the doctor came out and said he could no longer see my friend, or rather, said it in a way to force her to say she’d get an appointment tomorrow. His excuse was the initial exam was 40 minutes and would be past closing time and there were too many other patients. There was one other patient. This was a young, blonde doctor. I know from personal experience that at most a new consultation should take 30 minutes, and regular adjustments no more than five. We explained that we had to leave early for a bachelorette trip the next morning but the doctor continued to manipulate my friend into leaving. This doctor clearly didn’t want to be at work a minute longer than possible and my friend left in tears. I would never take someone here again.

I do not recommend. I have been trying for practically weeks to cancel my subscription. No one answers the phones and return voicemails. They send you a text message but don't even respond to those. Completely unprofessional business. Now another payment has came out of my account because they are practically refusing to cancel my subscription by ignoring my calls and texts. I would stay away.

Went there for one appointment. They continuously charged my card for multiple visits that I was not present for. Pretty much stealing my money. I went to purchase eyeglasses and my HSA company told me that “THE JOINT” had charged my card for all the money in my account. And will not refund me for the visits I did not attend. Would not recommend. I work in healthcare myself, as well as customer service. Integrity truly goes a long way. But In this day in age company’s like this really lack it. If you do go, do not give them access to any cards or accounts. Just give cash, other wise they’ll rob you.

Didnt expect for it to be super fast. I expected a little longer procedure just because of what I’ve seen on YouTube chiropractic experiences they work with your whole body alignment . And I only got my neck back and hips. The doctor said one leg was longer than the other and she didn’t give me any feedback if it was better or if there was any improvement after she “aligned me”.

Good service. No coffee here, but other nearby establishments have it. They are very friendly. Got my hip back in and showed me a few exercises. I appreciate their services and would recommend them for 80% of your basic chiropractor services. They do not offer laser services to my knowledge for decompression. No xray services available.

Everyone is wearing a mask and we now have social distancing being taken seriously. Only one or two patients at a time in the adjustment area. Also, a seating limit in the wait area. Doctors ask for my temperature reading and wipe down the tables. I have come to feel safe in continuing to have regular adjustments.

The adjustment was great! However, I didn't feel as though the chiropractor listened to me and what I was experiencing. He was set on making it so much more than I believed and set me up with all these visits. Everytime I said something, he totally disregarded me and pushed through with his agenda. I will visit again next month but maybe a different location.

I absolutely love this practice! They have some really fantastic chiropractors here - I’ve been very impressed with the quality of care and how available they are. I ended up buying their monthly package and it’s wonderful and so much more cost effective. I’ve been going there almost weekly for a year and a half and I’ve seen a difference in how much I can do - and it helps to know that they’re there if I overdo it. :)

Called this office about an initial appointment and the person that answered the phone advised me that I could make an appointment, but she could not tell me how long I would have to wait, because even if you have an appointment, established patients can walk in and they will take them first. It doesn't matter if you make an appointment you will still have to wait until they have seen all of their walk-in patients. That is a very unprofessional practice. Its as if they are saying, we don't really value your time and our appointments mean nothing. It also seems to relay that the established patients are more important than the new patients. Which should be quite the opposite. New patients are getting their first impression from the initial way you treat them. I will not even waste my time, because i can already see that this place is going to be messy unprofessional. I will spend my money elsewhere.

This place is basically magic. I had fallen off the wellness wagon for a while and finally made it back in to The Joint in Brier Creek because my body was so stiff it felt like I was about to shatter. I made an appointment for my husband on a Saturday at 1:00pm, we did all the paper work then had a seat. I'm unsure how the run their new patient appointments, but we were disappointed. We waited an hour and was never seen. The receptionist was kind and told us after waiting 30mints that it shouldn't be too much longer. After 45mints she tells us the doctor's taking all the walk ins first so he can sit down and have a full visit with us. At the hour mark another walk in came in and we decided to leave. We would have liked to have known that was the process when making the appointment. I feel that is an important thing to mention when someone is making a new patient appointment. We were offered to come back on Sunday, but I doubt if we will.

Went straight to The Joint after a disappointing visit to my MD for excruciating lower pain in my back. After the first session I felt exponentially better with minimal help from Ibuprofen. After the second session two days later, I didn't need any meds at all. By the fourth session (total time of a little over two weeks from first treatment), I was completely fine. I used to see a chiropractor once a week and always felt great then insurance cut back the coverage and I quit going. I figured I would be okay without it. A couple of weeks ago my siatiac nerve started causing pain down my leg and got to the point that I started loosing feeling in my leg. It was a Sunday and I needed immediate help. The Joint was there to take care of me. I used to pay $35 co-pay per visit when insurance cover it. The Joint only charges $15 for weekly visits and only $10 per visit after 4 visits in a month. Glad I went to The Joint. The doctor was great and is helping me get by back realigned and I already feel better. I really like that you don't need an appointment and that I can visit any of their locations and they have weekend hours.

I came here essentially brand new to receiving chiropractic care. The care is solving what I hoped to solve-- lower back/hip pain caused by an injury I left unattended for too long. The change really has been amazingly different and I'm pleased with the progress made. The benefits to coming to a place like this are, in a sense, also what prevents me from giving it 5 stars. I appreciate the convenience of drop-in appointments, but dislike waiting when I happen to drop in when many others are also dropping in. Even though I try to avoid peak hours, I seem to have bad luck on this front, because it's usually clear when I leave after I've waited for 2-3 people in front of me. Only on one of 6 occasions have I walked in and had no wait. The other times it's been around 10-15 minutes. My first appointment I waited over 30 minutes as they will wait until there are no "returning" clients until they will take the time to do an initial evaluation. That the appointments are quick helps the line move, but also gives an "and out you go" feeling to it. That there are multiple providers allows for greater flexibility of hours, but also prevents a feeling of consistency and rapport. For my needs right now, I am happy with the services provided. It's a definite benefit to be able to stick to your treatment plan when you go out of town (across the country even). My issues are clearing up just fine. If I needed long-term care, however, I might choose to go to a place that allowed me to have the same provider each time and spend a little more time with them discussing my progress.

I have visited many chiropractic offices through the decades, in multiple states. After giving birth, my sciatica pain worsened despite observing exercises that were supposed to relieve the discomfort. On top of that, I developed some cervical radiculopathy which radiated down my right arm. My initial visit was not as favorable because the chiropractor who saw me was hurried as he said, "Come on, let's get on with your story so we can get this over with," in a very non-therapeutic tone. This being my initial visit left a bitter taste in my mouth. The second chiropractor I saw during the next couple of weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays had a better demeanor, yet, I saw how heavily he was dealing with the case load as each client he saw did not seem to have a comprehensive intervention with their complaint. It was like he was just getting the cases done. Then, two Fridays ago, a new chiropractor who was visiting from the North Raleigh branch helped out, alleviating the extra load from the directing chiropractor. This was the game-changer! He even cleaned his hands between patients-- A HUGE deal for me as I am a health care provider myself. I pray that the increased influx of patients will never again influence the high quality care your group boasts about. See you guys at the office!

Glad that they are open on weekends, but for two minutes of attention this place isn't worth it. They rush you out after popping your back once and tell you to ice it. Still in considerable pain and feeling conned. Edit: since posting this the joint has called and offered to refund my visit and give me a free adjustment. They also asked me to take down this review. Feeling very off put by that.

I have been in chiropractic care for more than 35 years. Having moved several time, there have been several chiropractic doctors and office environments that I have experienced over that time. When I learned about the Joint's and Wellness Program I decided to give it a try as the price was very reasonable. I did not expect the high level of care and concern that I have received already in the first month. Dr. Goudy has been my caregiver so far. He comes with over 30 years of experience. His compassion and commitment to my healing has been exceptional. He is an excellent chiropractor and is interested in getting to the cause of the concern. He has been able to order diagnostic tests and recommends other practitioner to augment healing and recovery after the pain level is down. I am sure the other doctors are excellent as well as they do keep records on every patient, every visit. The staff is friendly and the office is well maintained. The convenience of location and open door policy make the experience pleasant as well. I highly recommend The Joint for your chiropractic needs.

After about a week and a half at my new job (which I am constantly having to crouch down and lift things) I started suffering from sciatica so bad that it felt like my back would seize up and I had more frequent headaches/migraines. When I found out how inexpensive "the joint" was I decided to give it a shot since OTC medications weren't working. After my first adjustment I could tell the next day at work that it was fixed. I plan on continuing to go to "the joint"!!!!!

Love this place. I have been able to get in and out of the chiropractor any day of the week and at half the cost of a traditional practice. They provide the same level of professionalism and knowledge as a traditional practice but there are many more hours and locations provided for your convenience. Dr. Goudy is great with kids as well, this is the only place my 2 year old is calm when the doctor comes in. Cara works the front desk and has phenomenal customer service and she remembered our names after day. Highly recommended The Joint!

I'm in love with how convenient this business is. I've needed a chiropractor for years and finally caved and found The Joint, offering a $20 first visit. Took 30 mins to get the forms filled out and I was given a keychain card for them to scan in the event I come back for subsequent visits. Totaled 10 minutes with the chiro, she took her time and explained the things she did and was patient with me as I was so awkwardly flipping around on the table. I feel good. Went back to the location on colonnade yesterday on my lunch break. Scanned my card, went right back, instantly on the table. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes, with my painful neck giving me less trouble and no work missed. Lovelovelove The Joint. Definitely signed up for their monthly plan so I can go once a week for now. The prices are so awesome. Highly recommend, have already raved to all my coworkers!
