Meet The Doctors

Dr. Craig Ross, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Luke Air Force Base

Dr. Craig Ross became part of The Joint Chiropractic’s team of local healthcare providers in 2021, where he does the work he finds so gratifying.

“I love being able to help people reach their true potential with chiropractic. I have a passion for healthcare to be as drug-free as possible,” he says. “In my 30+ years of practice, I have been able to meet and train great people from all over the world and share the ability to help people with just my hands.”

Dr. Ross -- or “Coach,” as some patients call him because of his coaching background -- is a product of Southern California’s San Fernando Valley and worked previously in Los Angeles, Santa Monica, and Sacramento, Calif.

Even though Dr. Ross is busy with his career and raising his grandkids, he still has time to play adult baseball with his brothers. He was engaged to his wife within six weeks of meeting in the 1980s and have been married ever since; his two older children (one of them a Navy veteran) are on a path to become nurses, and another who is a cartographer (a map maker). The family also includes a terrier named Sparky and pit bull named Queen.

He graduated from Cal State Northridge with a degree in physical education, including a secondary teaching credential for PE, before getting a doctorate of chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles.

“I first injured my back at 8 years old and had episodes throughout the years,” Dr. Ross says. “While I was studying physical education, I had a serious episode with my back. I made an appointment with a chiropractor; while explaining my injury to me, I had a light bulb moment when I thought, ‘I can do this.’ I was in the middle of my anatomy and physiology classes and it all made sense. Several years later, I was sitting in my first chiropractic class and haven’t looked back. I am a chiropractor 24/7. People apologize about asking me questions, but to me, being a chiropractor is not what I do, but who I am -- so ask away.”

In Case You Didn’t Know

Dr. Ross says the one thing he always keeps stocked in his refrigerator is chocolate.

Having grown up in LA and working there, Dr. Ross has adjusted celebrities and been across the restaurant table from many people who are famous. “It was cool, but I believe the everyday heroes are the ones who fascinate me most,” he says. “Being at Luke Air Force Base allows me the honor of working with, and meeting, everyday heroes.”

Among the coolest things he has done, Dr. Ross hit a home run in the presence of 80 baseball scouts who were looking at scouting a start opponent player, and he went skydiving with his son. One other notable experience was training a husband and wife chiropractic team from San Jose who had 127 years of combined practice; they both had a connection with BJ Palmer, the developer of the field of chiropractic -- the woman was a babysitter and the man waxed Palmer’s circus wagon.

Dr. Patrick S. Bradley came to the Luke AFB clinic location of The Joint Chiropractic team in 2022, where he enjoys the role of local healthcare provider in the Glendale area and does the work he finds so fulfilling.

“The best thing about being in chiropractic is helping patients reach their goal,” he says. “When patients reach their goals it validates my decision to become a chiropractor. The other thing I love is the patient interaction; I’m a people person and I enjoy talking with, and educating, patients.”

Dr. Patrick, as his patients call him, grew up in Southern California and has worked previously in Peoria and Avondale. He and his wife, an elementary school teacher who loves kids, have been married for more than 25 years. They have two daughters, one attending Northern Arizona University, and the other a high school volleyball and track and field athlete. In his spare time, he likes to ride his ATV.

He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, where he earned his doctorate, after earning a BBA in economics from University of San Diego.

Dr. Patrick knew chiropractic was his calling after a car accident left him injured but he found relief from a chiropractor. “This is what ultimately led to my decision to become a chiropractor,” he says. And it was that decision that led him to one of his most memorable experiences as a DC. “I took thoracic X-rays on a patient and found that he had cancer,” he says. “Because I caught it in time, he was able to receive treatment and ultimately became cancer-free.”

In Case You Didn’t Know

If Dr. Patrick could bring together any four people from history for his ideal dinner party, he would include Ronald Reagan, Wyatt Earp, Harriet Tubman, and Albert Einstein. “Reagan was the greatest president, in my opinion, and Earp was a badass,” he says. “I would love to hear how Tubman gathered the courage to do what she did as the conductor of the Underground Railroad, and how Einstein developed the theory of relativity.”

His favorite author is Clive Cussler and has spread “more than 20 of his great adventure stories.”

Among his favorite memories is when his father taught him how to fish a river. “I still fish the same spot in Colorado whenever we go to our cabin,” Dr. Patrick says. “He taught me how to read a river and where the best spots to fly fish are going to be. I look at things logically and this really had an impact on me. I love fly fishing and knowing exactly where the fish are.”

Dr. George Blevins, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Luke Air Force Base

Dr. George Blevins, or as his patients call him, “Dr B”, grew up in western Washington attending Aberdeen high school and Grays Harbor College. He was first “adjusted” by his local chiropractor and discovered the benefits of routine chiropractic, and it was at that point he knew he wanted to be a chiropractor.

Dr. B. graduated in 2003 from Life College of Chiropractic West in Hayward, CA. Upon graduation, Dr B started a successful family practice in Shelton, WA. He and his wife Carol were active with their five kids and eight grandchildren.

After retiring in 2022, Dr B. sold his clinic and contemplated retirement. After realizing he still had gas in the tank to continue working at a craft he truly loved, he started working part time at The Joint Chiropractic in West Seattle, Olympia, and Tumwater, WA.

Dr. B. moved to Arizona in 2023 with his wife Carol, and Don Julio, their little Chihuahua.

When not working at The Joint Chiropractic at Arrowhead Ranch and Luke Air Force Base you will find Dr. B. bombing around Sun City West in his golf cart.
