Meet The Doctors
Dr. Alan Frandsen’s chiropractic journey started as a teenage patient in the Seattle area. Later on a chiropractic adjustment saved his son's life. The needs of a young family took precedence over college. He and his wife Leanne and their kids moved from the wet and rainy Northwest to Phoenix and sunny skies. Many long talks about ”what are we going to do when we grow up?” led to a move to Marietta Georgia and Life College of Chiropractic. After graduation, Dr.Alan worked in a variety of Georgia based clinics until his daughter graduated from high school, then it was back to the Valley of the Sun. (The dry heat is so much nicer than the south’s humidity.)
Dr Alan loves the transition to pure chiropractic as envisioned at The Joint. Being able to make recommendations based on what a patient needs rather than what an insurance company pays for is refreshing. Seeing people get up from the table, amazed at the changes inside their being is gratifying and joyous. Chiropractic rocks!
When Dr. Alan is not working, he is building a 1924 model t Ford hot rod and restoring a vintage VW bug. Other hobbies include singing, building furniture and model trains.
In case you didn't know
Dr. Alan is the first person in his family to earn a college degree let alone a Doctoral degree. He says “Set your sights on the prize, go to work and refuse to lose.”
Dr. Marie Alvarez, D.C was born and raised in Strasbourg, France . After attending chiropractic school in Toulouse, France for 3 years she transferred to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa were she graduated in October 2019 .
She achieved her dream of being a doctor in the US and moved to Peoria , AZ in March 2020 to start working for The Joint Chiropractic.
Dr. Alvarez has a personal drive to help people and make a difference. She takes pride in being a resource for people who take health and wellness seriously. She believes that a greater quality of life can be achieved through chiropractic adjustments and philosophy.
When Dr. Alvarez is not working, she enjoys hiking, cooking and working out .
