Dr. Nayara Miranda in Coral Springs pic and bio info: I look forward to working with, teaching and helping the Coral Springs community achieve optimal health through chiropractic wellness care. The best thing about being in the Chiropractic field is the constant feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment in helping people. There is no better feeling than knowing you took part in making them feel better and move better. One of the best things about being in the chiropractic field is sharing my knowledge. I truly enjoy educating patients on how they can better take care of themselves and help themselves at home so they can live an optimally. I knew I wanted to be in the health field and serve patients since I was young. I didn’t know I wanted to be a Chiropractor until I was in college and doing my internship at a multidisciplinary clinic. I went to shadow the physical therapist there, but given the open floor plan I was able to shadow a Chiropractor as well. I was immediately drawn to everything the Chiropractor did from the interaction with the patient, to the table talk and knowledge they were providing the patient to the actual treatment and hilarious laughs from the loud “cracking” noises. I never wanted to leave that environment. Soon after, I began working in multiple chiropractic offices as an assistant, where I was compelled to begin my own journey to become a life changing Chiropractor. Along my journey I have been blessed with many memorable situations and great success stories. One that will always stand out to me was in my first year in practice. I had an older gentleman walk in with severe sensitivity on his face, some areas were so sensitive to touch the wind couldn’t blow on his face without severe discomfort. Other areas were completely numb to the point when he shaved his face he would cut himself and not feel it. He had fallen from an exercise ball 2 months prior and hit his head, went to the ER and several doctors with no luck. After a thorough history and exam I continued to treat him. After just 2 weeks of treatment with me his symptoms had completely subsided. I couldn’t promise the patient he would get better, but I knew he was helpless and the least I could do was try. I treated him for several months after until he moved and his symptoms never returned. It was I first “unusual” case and I’m glad I was able to help him when no one else could. In the doctors spare time she enjoys staying active and being outdoors. You can also find her spending time with family, traveling the world, trying new restaurants, and reading physiological thrillers.
Dr. Odalis Vazquez is a dedicated chiropractor with a passion for providing accessible and affordable healthcare to all individuals, regardless of their insurance status or financial means. She holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences with a Minor in French Studies.
Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Vazquez discovered her love for chiropractic care through a desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. Her commitment to offering affordable services reflects her belief that investing in one's health should be accessible to everyone, irrespective of their financial circumstances.
Dr. Vazquez takes pride in her ability to provide value to her patients and witnesses the profound impact chiropractic care has on their lives. With a focus on improving overall quality of life, she finds fulfillment in helping individuals alleviate pain and enhance their well-being. Despite not having a dramatic origin story, Dr. Vazquez's genuine love for helping people has solidified her dedication to chiropractic as a rewarding career.
During her internship, Dr. Vazquez had the opportunity to work with a Sports Chiropractor, an experience that fueled her passion for the positive energy and the transformative impact chiropractic care can have on athletes. She enjoyed contributing to their journey, helping them reach their athletic goals, improve performance, and providing education on holistic well-being.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Vazquez is a self-proclaimed foodie who loves exploring new restaurants, discovering hidden gems in South Florida, and indulging her passion for travel. She shares her life with her spouse, Gerard Mendez, a former collegiate baseball player, and together, they appreciate the joy of discovering new places and experiences.
With a year and a half of experience in the field, Dr. Odalis Vazquez is enthusiastic about her career in chiropractic care, driven by the satisfaction of making a tangible difference in the lives of her patients, one person at a time.
