Meet The Doctors
Dr. Arnold was born in England and grew up in Connecticut. He received his bachelors degree in biology from Boston University in 1988 and graduate cum laude with a doctorate from New York Chiropractic College in 1993. Prior to joining The Joint Chiropractic, Dr. Arnold was in private practice in Ft. Pierce for 25 years. He is happily married to his wife Nancy of 25 years and has two daughters.
Dr. George F. Clemens is a South Florida native with over 30 years of Chiropractic experience, with his education and experience he is specialized in the fields of Sports Injuries, Physical Therapy, and Clinical Thermography. He is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He is Board Certified as a Disability and Impairment Evaluator in the State of Hawaii. He attended Florida International University in Miami Florida. From there he obtained his Doctorate in Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science at Southern California University of Health Sciences, Los Angeles College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Clemens focuses on accurate diagnosis of musculoskeletal conditions and the positive benefits of consistent chiropractic care. He is grateful for every opportunity to expand the patients knowledge of restoring health and mobility naturally. While practicing in the State of Hawaii he was given the opportunity to treat a very diverse and active community from farm- labor work injuries to sport injuries of competitive triathlon athletes, professional surfers and rough water swimmers.
Dr. Clemens continues to stress the importance of maintaining Chiropractic Wellness Care as the corner stone in being the non-invasive path in treating each individuals spine, nervous and musculoskeletal system, allowing the body to heal itself. He understands the importance of each individual achieving the Best Quality of Living.
Dr. Clemens personal interest include boating, fishing, and traveling. He enjoys reading and keeping up with the latest breakthroughs in healthcare.
Dr Comerford has over 25 years of experience in the medical field. He enlisted in the Army at 18 and retired after serving as a commander and brigade medical officer. As a 24 year veteran, he was a combat medic, laboratory technologist, combat life saver instructor and combatives instructor. Dr Comerford has 3 different clinics and loves serving his community. With 4 degrees and 12 years of college he has worked as a professor at local colleges and a chiropractor at Patrick Air Force Base and works with Florida Institute of Technology's athletic programs. He is an avid sports nut, loves rooting for his Michigan teams and supporting his wife and children in their athletic endeavors.
Dr. Roxanne Shepherd is a board-certified Chiropractic physician that specializes in high velocity low amplitude manual technique, as well as flexion and distraction techniques for manipulation. Dr. Shepherd is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to her patients.
Dr. Shepherd is a Jamaican national that immigrated to the United States where she aquired her chiropractic degree from Keiser University School of Chiropractic Medicine in West Palm Beach, Florida. She pursued her chiropractic internship at the Keiser Spine Care Clinic in West Palm Beach, Florida. Dr. Shepherd’s history in medicine began in nursing where she concurrently holds a License Practical Nurse license. The progression to Chiropractic Physician enhances her natural abilities in patient care and allows her to continue her advocacy efforts in patient education and health promotion through body, mind and soul enrichment. She actively participates with the American Black Chiropractic Association, The Florida Chiropractic Association as well as Florida Chiropractic Collation.
Outside clinic hours, Dr. Shepherd enjoys reading, the beach, traveling, and monitoring family wellness issues.
