Meet The Doctors
Hi, my name is Dr. Alexis C. Gorman. I grew up in Suburbs of Chicago and recently, November, 2023, moved to Winter Haven. I went to Northern Illinois University and got my BS in Public Health. I then attended National University of Health Sciences to pursue my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. I have been practicing since 2012 and joined The Joint in January 2019. My personal mission is to help as many people as possible experience the amazing effects of chiropractic.
I got into chiropractic after undergrad. I started working for a chiropractor and had so much fun working with the patients and seeing the amazing results that I decided that I had to become a chiropractor. Since graduating I have worked with a wide range of patients. Ages 1 day old to 90+, Acute and Chronic pain patients to wellness and preventative care. I love educating the patients on the effects of subluxations (misalignments) and the amazing benefits of getting adjusted and being in alignment.
Outside of work, I am married and have been with my husband since 2002. We have three sons, Zachery (9) and Jaxson (6) and Caden (3). When I have down time I love to run, read, and eat. Since moving here I also found a love for Pickleball! I’m excited to explore all the things we can’t really do in IL now that I’m in Florida and help my community as much as I can!
Dr. Brent Crumpton grew up in North Central Florida. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Florida and then decided that his future was meant to be in the healthcare field. He continued his education and earned his Doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. Dr. Brent is skilled at diversified adjusting, nutritional counseling, active rehabilitation, and manual therapies.
Dr. Brent has a passion for treating athletes. He enjoys educating and communicating the importance of a proper functioning musculoskeletal and nervous system to obtain goals.
Outside of the office Dr. Brent enjoys spending time with his wife and family, functional weight training and outdoor activities. When he isn’t treating patients at work, he and his wife are growing their farm. He is also involved within his church community and values that part of his life greatly.
Dr. David Richards is native to Florida and grew up in the Palm Bay/Melbourne area. He then went to University of Central Florida to get his bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology. From there, he went directly to chiropractic school where he earned his Doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida Campus in September of 2021.
Outside of treating patients, Dr. David enjoys target shooting, sports, and going to Disney World with his wife.
Dr. Olivia Knight was born and raised in Southwest Michigan. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Business Marketing at the University of South Florida. She continued her education and earned her Doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Knight is skilled at Palmer Package (Gonstead, Thompson, Diversified) along with Activator, and Active rehabilitation.
Dr. Knight believes that the chiropractic profession has a longing need to educate individuals and communities that chiropractic care is more than just an adjustment of the spine. It is a preventative art and science to improve the body’s mobility, heal the body from pain, and enhance the overall well-being of individuals. In a society where we rely on SICK-care, Dr. Knight feels it is her duty to provide HEALTH-care to those who want to make their health and quality of life a priority.
When not in the clinic seeing patients, Dr. Knight values time with her family and fellowship with her church. She also enjoys spending time at home with her Doberman, Vienna and working on home improvement projects.
