Meet The Doctors
Dr. Derek Schroering was born and raised in the Louisville area. He graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 2012 and has been serving the Louisville community ever since. Dr. Schroering uses his unique talents to help people of all ages with their aches, pains, and even debilitating injuries. His exceptional patient feedback, and sheer number of overall years in servitude, speak for the effectiveness of not only Dr. Schroering ‘s work, but for the miracles of chiropractic medicine. However, success did not miraculously appear for Dr. Schroering overnight. It was a long and winding road of tedious study, continuing education, and trial and error that led to the success that he has now.
Dr. Erik's favorite thing about Chiropractic is how quickly you can see results with patients, while keeping it all natural and non-invasive.
Dr. Erik has 31 years in Chiropractic, getting his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West, San Francisco, California,1996, graduating as clinic valedictorian, Sep 1996. Dr. Erik is licensed in 5 states, California, Florida, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
Dr. Erik is a West Point graduate, and a 100% service-connected disabled veteran having served in Desert Storm 1990-1991 era, and Kosovo 1999- 2001. He and his identical twin brother, both graduated from US Military Academy at West Point, NY w/ 4 year Engineering degree, in 1988; where they both played Division 1 football under Jim Young (ex Purdue Head Coach), going to 3 National Bowl games in 4 years, beating Mich. State, 1984 Cherry Bowl; Illinois, 1985 Peach Bowl, w/(Colts QB Jack Trudeau); and (losing by 1, last minute field goal to) Alabama, 1988 Sun Bowl, w/ Hall of Fame NFL linebacker Derrick Thomas.
Dr. Erik is a graduate of DLI, The Defense Language Institute, 1990 where he has spoken 8 languages, and traveled to 40 different countries, and currently still serves the NSA, and Dept of Army with translator asset management by ongoing, (in various hotspots around the world), management of 1200 refugee translators in Kosovo, 1999-2002, most recently Mid East, 2015 to 2020, off and on.
Dr. Erik, from San Diego, CA, has spent 25 years in Indiana, raising four children, Giovanni, Christian, Tatum,(all 3,IU Bloom grads), Ava , (IU-Indy), Ava has 58 track medals, high school record in 400m. One grandson, Ozzy.
