Meet The Doctors
Dr. William Frisk joined The Joint Chiropractic’s team of local healthcare providers in 2021 to serve residents in Bossier City, where he relishes the opportunity to do the work he finds so rewarding.
“The ability to interact with patients and relieve them with their symptoms makes me feel like I am a positive influence on my patients’ lives,” he says. “I find it very rewarding to be able to participate in their lives and get to know about them on a more personal level.”
He’s OK with calling him Dr. Bill, and he has also worked previously in Shreveport.
Raised in the high plains of southeast Colorado, Dr. Bill and his physical therapist wife have three children and they enjoy time together riding horses Redwing, Lightning, and Sergeant. They also have two dogs. But that’s not all. “I enjoy raising cattle and fishing,” he says. “Every morning before coming to work, I head out ot the pasture to care for my cattle”
Dr. Bill earned his doctorate from Parker University in Dallas. Before that, he received his associate degree from Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colo.
“I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor since grade school when my music teacher brought in a chiropractor as a guest speaker,” he says. “What he said stuck with me from that day on and guided me to where I am now.
“I really enjoy helping people manage and treat their lesser symptoms before they become a bigger problem.”

If he could bring together any four people from history for his ideal dinner party, Dr. Bill would make it a cowboy affair with “Chris LeDoux, one of my favorite singers and a rodeo champion; Grady Spears, a great Texas cowboy cook who would be the chef; Carrie Underwood would be the entertainment; and DeWayne Noel, a cowboy wrangler and good life coach.”
He says he always keeps lettuce stocked in the kitchen: “I love to make and eat salads.”
His favorite book is Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. “It meant a lot to me,” he says, because it taught me that loyalty is more important than social class.”
Dr. Ryan Bourg was born and raised in South Louisiana. He completed his undergraduate education at Louisiana State University. After graduating with his Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan University, he decided to return to Louisiana. He is now a local chiropractor for The Joint Chiropractic in Shreveport, La.
Dr. Ryan has been interested in chiropractic care since suffering a football related injury in high school. He suffered with back pain on and off for a year before trying chiropractic care, and was amazed at the improvements he experienced in just a few adjustments. His passion for helping others to live to their full potential led him to a career in chiropractic. Dr. Ryan’s favorite thing about being a chiropractor is working with and helping people.
Throughout his chiropractic journey, Dr. Ryan has learned to serve a wide variety of patients from babies to grandparents through the use of manual manipulation. Dr. Ryan has learned to serve and treat a variety of symptoms and ailments. These include migraines, upper back pain, lower back pain, neck pain, arthritis, sciatica, and more. When Dr. Ryan is not working at The Joint Chiropractic in Shreveport, Louisiana, he enjoys hiking, reading, learning new hobbies, and spending time with his dog, Snapdragon.
