Meet The Doctors
I am Dr. Remi Jeffries, chiropractic physician, and my patients call me Dr. Remi. I joined the Joint Chiropractic in 2021; have practiced at the South End Charlotte, NC location since June 2022; and enjoy working at this Joint location because of its proximity to Uptown and the diverse patients it serves. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre Med from Columbia College, Columbia, SC in 2017 while playing collegiate golf. After graduating I continued my studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic-Florida and earned the Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2021. I was born in Milwaukee, WI (GO PACKERS!!!) and was raised in Blythewood, SC right outside of Columbia. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, shopping, golfing, working out, streaming content, and spending time with family, friends, and my two-year old chocolate lab/pit bull mix, Rocco, who keeps me on the go.
The best thing about being in the chiropractic field is rehabilitating patients using natural methods and facilitating health through non invasive measures. The other thing I love about chiropractic care is getting to educate new patients and update existing patients about different conditions that chiropractic care can address. I knew the health field was my calling because it enables me to couple my interest in science with my inclination to help people. I developed my passion for chiropractic care when I became a chiropractic patient my senior year of high school after a serious car accident threatened my college golf scholarship, and I had exhausted other methods of pain relief and recovery.
I studied culinary arts for three years in high school, and my easy seasoning cheat -- great on salads, veggies, meats and always in my fridge -- is Olive Garden Italian dressing. My perfect dinner party, consisting of four famous people, would include Aaron Rodgers, Beyonce Knowles, Michelle Obama, and Tiger Woods because all of these individuals have incredible drive and perseverance. The coolest thing I have done is zip line dive into a 120 feet cenote in the jungle of Mexico. It was an amazing and thrilling experience!
