D.C. Scott Brown was raised in Concrete, Washington and attended Spokane Community College, graduating in 2008 with a Degree in Pre-Chiropractic. From there, he went on to study Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic, graduating in 2012. Following graduation, Dr. Brown served his community at Mount Vernon Chiropractic before coming to The Joint Chiropractic in September 2022. Dr. Brown's favorite part of being a chiropractor is helping to get his patients out of pain.
In his free time, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, golfing, and watching and playing sports and video games. While on a clinic abroad trip in chiropractic college, Dr. Brown went to the Taj Mahal in India.
Dr. Daniel was raised in the metro Detroit area and received his Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Science from Grand Valley State University in 2012. Afterwards, Dr. Daniel continued his education at University of Western States, earning both his Doctorate in Chiropractic and Masters in Sports Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Daniel worked in multidisciplinary clinics in NE Portland, OR before moving to Bellingham WA and joining The Joint Chiropractic.
Dr. Daniel enjoys trail running in his free time, as well as hiking and camping with his wife and dog. While he is not running or camping, Dr. Daniel enjoys rock climbing at the local crags.
Dr. Reese graduated from the University of Western States (UWS) with a degree in Chiropractic Medicine and is a National Board-Certified Chiropractor. He also earned a postdoctoral certificate in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine at UWS. His previous degrees in mathematics, physics, and computer science are combined with a completed pre-medical curriculum and genetics research background from Arizona State University (ASU).
Dr. Reese was a member of the 1979-80 USA trampoline team. He was a competitive collegiate diver, baseball player, and gymnast. He enjoys sailing, skiing, and cycling. He understands sports injuries and successful conservative care. He enjoys speaking on topics of current and past interests to large and small groups. He has been married for nearly 40 years and he and his wife raised four children.
He believes that his patients benefit when they are educated and motivated to be part of a team solution for better health and vitality through a combination of both chiropractic care and functional medicine.
Dr. Tan earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. His interest in chiropractic began after seeking treatment after a car accident years ago. Dr. Tan works with his patients to develop treatment plans for a faster recovery. Through use of spinal and extremity adjustments, rehab exercises, and ergonomic corrections, he has helped his patients get back to enjoying all that the PNW has to offer.
During his free time, Dr. Tan goes hiking and takes landscape photography, playing disc golf with his wife, and napping with his cats, Mochi and Kenny.
Dr. Brian Boyd was born and raised in Iowa, and graduated from Palmer College in 1996, receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He then began practicing in Bellingham, Washington in 1997.
Dr. Brian brings 28 years of experience and over two million adjustments to the table. Blending gentle hand and instrument adjustments, he safely and efficiently restores spinal rhythm and balance to his patients.
Dr. Brian is an avid snow sports enthusiast, having taught skiing and snowboarding over the years. He worked operations at Mount Baker for eight seasons. You can find Dr. Brian in the summertime riding bikes, motorcycles and occasionally in the water– but primarily on the golf course!
Dr. Darlene Castle attended Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1972.

I decided that was the career for me: one month after graduating from high school, I was in Chiropractic College."

Dr. Castle is an avid animal lover and has been involved in feral cat rescue for over 40 years. She currently enjoys watching deer, bear and other wildlife while managing her property in the PNW.
