Meet The Doctors
Dr. Morris grew up in Kingwood,WV. He graduated from Central Preston High and attended West Virginia University, where he studied Sport and Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology. He obtained his doctorate in Chiropractic from Logan University in St. Louis, MO.
He practiced in the St. Louis area until returning to WV in 2013. Dr. Morris has a sports medicine background and experience in rehabilitative exercise and fitness and nutrition.
Dr. Morris enjoys spending time outdoors, especially on the golf course or the water fishing.
Dr. Jess Huck DC (They/Them) is a 2023 graduate from Northeast College of Health Sciences in Seneca Falls, NY, where they graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and special studies in Orthotics and Whole Food Nutrition.
Prior to attending chiropractic college, Dr. Jess received their Masters in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine from American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. It was during their clinical experience of acupuncture that they realized they needed to continue their education into chiropractic.
Before the career change into holistic medicine, Dr. Jess worked as a freelance photographer as well as for Social Security Disability. It was during this time they really began to see the negative effects of the western medical system, specifically with the opioid epidemic. This spawned the desire to be able to help people with alternatives to the addictive medications that have negatively affected so many families.
Dr. Jess is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community and identifies as Trans Non-Binary, using They/Them pronouns. It was during their education at Northeast that they honed in on their passion for providing quality healthcare for all marginalized communities and it’s of utmost importance to create a safe space for all patients. In their spare time you can find Dr. Jess spending time with their family, crafting culinary creations inspired by TikTok or Instagram, camping, traveling, and just enjoying nature.
Dr. Filcheck, a native of Uniontown PA, received his BS in Behavior Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh, a Doctor of Chiropractic from the National College of Chiropractic in Chicago, IL. and an MBA from West Virginia University. He has resided in the Morgantown area for 29 years. He enjoys jogging, working around the house, and attending concerts.
