Meet The Doctors
Dr. Weathers has a Bachelor’s of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi. He grew up in the neighboring city of West Point, Mississippi. After receiving his degree, he moved to Atlanta in 2012 to pursue his chiropractic education. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, GA in June 2016. Dr. Weathers has been practicing with The Joint Chiropractic since August 2016.
Dr. Weathers works with his patients so they may achieve a higher quality of life in their daily activities. This often includes treatment for injuries or treatment of pain and discomfort which can arise from daily activities. Dr. Weathers has extensive training in the cause, prevention, and treatment of nerve, muscle, and joint conditions. He uses his unique talents to help people of all ages with their aches, pains, and even debilitating injuries. His outstanding reputation and exceptional patient feedback speak for the effectiveness of not only Dr. Weather’s work, but for chiropractic medicine as well.
Dr. Newport grew up in Hernando, MS. She attended the University of Mississippi where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After attending Ole Miss, she moved to St. Louis to attend Logan University. While there, she earned a Bachelor's degree in life science and a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2012.
Dr. Newport joined The Joint Chiropractic team in 2015. She is proficient in using different chiropractic techniques such as Diversified, Thompson Drop, and Activator. She particularly enjoys treating expecting mothers and their babies who follow. Dr. Newport is also certified in Animal/Veterinary chiropractic. She owns her own mobile animal chiropractic practice and is currently teaching animal chiropractic classes at Options for Animals.
Dr. Newport and her amazing partner Brandi love spending their spare time playing with their fur babies and horseback riding. She is an avid horseman with a great love for the outdoors. She has eleven horses as well as an adorable boxer named Sarge.
